Quick thoughts

1) That was one of the best 4th quarters I've ever seen in any game. The fact that it was against the Ravens was sweet.
2) Two turnovers and we still score 31 against a very good D without Green or Coates or Bey. We will be better.
3) That final drive reminded me of the 08 SB final drive. Ben had that innate sense of where to move out of the pocket to and when to throw.
4) Took too long to run slants and crossing patterns with Brown. He's a huge weapon. You need to move him around just like you do with Bell. Its like taking candy from a baby when you throw a short crossing pattern to Brown in open space. Do it more!
5) I hate to say it because its been said too often already but I keep thinking how incredibly unfortunate it is that Martavius is a pothead. You can bring your safties over to Brown or stack the box with them against Bell but their arent enough safeties to provide support for all of them. Such a shame. He was that point of inflection when the advantage significantly weighted the scales towards the Steelers.
6) We won without Green Coates Tuitt and Heyward. We get back three of them pretty soon. Rest players against the Browns after a quarter or two. It should be treated like a preseason game. Just enough to avoid rust and that's it. Its like a bye week to bring back guys like Tuitt slowly.
7) The tale of two Bens. Usually you get Bad Ben and a loss or Good Ben and a win. We got both today and won. It was unique in that sense. Sure made for great drama but unforunately I stained my pajamas in the process. I still think he's a butthole of a person but as much as he frustrates me we are so fortunate to have him. He is a hall of famer. Look at the list of HOF QB's .....its full of impressive studs. Ben the occasional bonehead supremely belongs. The days of Malone Brister Tomzack Stewart and Maddox do not escape me. I'm glad we have the butthole. Lol
8) I started doing superstitious Karate Kid "Crane" stances in the fourth quarter. It was spontaneous and I was desperate but the second I started doing it the game changed. Your welcome.
9) Every time they show Mike there are two looks.....the Homer Simpson look of unaware or the Rah Rah Mike. That unfortunately forces me to agree with Terry who ironically also consistently sports the look of unaware.
10) I cooked a really really nice dinner and couldn't eat any of it......whewww now Im pigging out! I could eat dead bird right now!

Here we go.......

If they'd have a camera on me for most of these games, I'd probably look like the greatest coach in the world. All intense and stuff. But believe me, you wouldn't want me anywhere near a sideline. Damn, I hate this look stuff. It means nothing.

Without a doubt they blew that call.

Just a crazy thought...but is it possible that this facemask won us the game? Think about it. Had Weddle just hit AB from behind and try to push him back, AB might not have perceived how close he was to the goal line and may have not reached the ball across it. But with the facemask pulling his head and eyes backwards, Weddle actually HELPED AB's vision. You can clearly see in the picture AB's eyes fixated on the endzone...but he would be hard pressed to get his head and eyes around that far if not the the yank on his facemask.

I think the defense over all played pretty well considering how banged up they were and the situations Ben and Boswell had put them in. 2 bad picks for Ben and 2 kick off OB? WTF?

A perfect gift for a Ravens fan : )

The refs were like a razor on us. Any little thing and a flag!

LOl....you had the same crazy thought I did. The facemask grab may have helped him along.

By landing their vaunted first win of the season they bungled away their #1 overall pick in the 2017 Draft. I hope someone else lands a great QB with that first overall pick. LOL Oh those Clowns!

They still own the number one pick, SF also won, giving them TWO wins. Even if the Browns win next week against our JV team, and SF loses, the Browns hang on to the number one pick.

I just watched the play again for at least the 10th time, and came to the same conclusion. Not only that, it caused the momentum of his body to rotate toward the goal line, making the reach natural/easier. Look how far AWAY from the goal line he ended up.

I think when his head was down he looks and sees the goal line then gathers himself and uses his legs to force himself up and toward the goal line where he then extends his arm to break the plane and win the game...the facemask was just another ****** missed call....luckily it didn't matter

11) watching this special on Noll......he said .... I am here to teach you the game of football. I will never give you a motivational speech. If I have to motivate you to play this game I'll fire you. Does that not say it all??

It would be interesting to see Emperor Chaz coaching today's kids.
