Quesiton on the 2021 draft

Assuming the worst ( no NCAA or NFL Season ) how would the draft order for the 2021 draft work? A lottery system?

Assuming there is a 10 game season, what could the NFL do to prevent tanking for the teams out of the 7 playoff spot race? They would not have to tank for long is my point.

all you could do is make a lottery which i think should be in the top ten anyhow.

I don't know about a lottery but if NO season this year there could be a possibility of picking in the same order as last year. But the NFL will probably lean towards what ever BIG pressure forces them to move.

Man...with Trevor Lawrence coming out next year...some teams are going to be freaking out as to how a draft order will be determined if there is no 2020 season.

I have always believed a weighted lottery is the best method. Everyone outside the playoffs has a chance for one or even a big move up but have to overcome odds based upon order of finish. If you end up last you get a much better chance but it's not a lock.

I am more interested to see if there will be games than worry about next draft. hell, ncaa could get canceled and athletes given a new year eligibility. why worry on it now?

that said, I detest lottery systems.
