The thing is, when pushed the Steelers can come up with a gameplan to beat the pats... now in foxboro the whole stadium is rigged so you have to probably lean more on the players to call plays than the coaches, but realistically they can be beat if you assume theyare going to run those pick plays and hold a bunch... take a page out of the latter day peyton playbook..


You know I totally believe that we intentionally ran all old **** vs them cause Tomlin really believes he is going to face them again in the playoffs and he holds **** back... its dumb but totally believeable...

Of course the season isn't over, but you have to ask yourself, how on earth this team if it made the playoffs could go into the Masshole and win. It was like Varsity versus a peewee team. With Varsity led by a chess master and peewee led by the best Angry Birds player.

They probably won’t but it can a has been done.

Honestly with AB going to the *'s and both their starting TE's OUT.....the NFL might as well give the *'s their 7th Lombardi now. I honestly think AB orchestrated one of the most ridiculous snow jobs ever since being traded to the Raiders......complaining about a helmet.....just makes no sense....he makes himself look like a crazy, selfish whack job.......just to get himself released from his contract with the Raiders......Bellicheat doesn't tolerate crap from players like what AB has shown......AB gets himself released then the Patriots step right up and sign the guy.......I'm sorry that's just too coincidental and smells like this was all carefully planned out and part of the grand scheme to land himself in New England.....now you watch him be a model teammmate! I'm sorry this was all planned! Patriots will go undefeated!

Agree 100%!!! Went to OTAs and found out Carr sucked so he started planning his exit. No doubt in my minds going to NE was a done deal; just like when L. Blount walked off the sidelines for the locker room. Someone had told him that if he could get the Steelers to release him that NE would sing him!

In fairness, the Jets were coached by a guy who understood football and particularly defense at the time. The Steelers have a guy with an impressive vocabulary.

As for Tomlin 'holding back'. I do appreciate the laugh. I think the odds that the Steelers make the playoffs at this point are pretty ******* remote. The P*ts demonstrated JuJu can be contained with the #1 corner. Mongrief is utterly ******* useless which makes it that much harder on JuJu. Conner won't get the carries to establish a running game because this defense can't figure out how to cover the middle to save their ******* souls and thus the Steelers will pretty much constantly be playing catch-up.

This team wasn't just 'rusty' or having trouble with communication. They ******* sucked last night. Consider the ONLY guy who made a play ALL NIGHT ended up running out of bounds 2 yards later. THAT was our highlight.

Unless of course you count Bos drilling an 18 yarder to bring the game within infinity.

Where was this understanding 6 weeks prior where they got drubbed worse than we did in a late season game not first of season?
