Playoff time! The good news is the Steelers are about as healthy as they have ever been this season. No full time starters are injured, and only Golden was lost from playing the 'meaningless' game last week vs Cleveland. Green would get significant snaps and could make a significant impact, but Jessie James has shown, he is the starter this season.

1. Zach Mettenberger 3rd QB inactive
2. Ricardo Mathews Ankle - Ruled out
3. Anthony Chickillo Ankle - Ruled out
4. LaDarius Green Concussion Protocol - Since he didn't practice Friday, I assume he is back to square 1 and will try again next week.
5. Robert Golden Ankle - He's working his way back. Didn't practice Wed and was limited Thu and Fri. I still think he's a week away.
6. Brian Mihalik Healthy Scratch - The O-line is healthy so he will sit.
7. Sammie Coates - He's my call. The other WRs are producing where he hasn't since September. I sit Sammie

Make your picks as well. I'm off to Pittsburgh. Go Steelers!!!

Green, meh, business as usual. We got this far mostly without him.
Chickillo and Matthews being out concerns me.

I really like Coates if his finger/hand is 100%... not so much if it is not.

Good info. It's a toss up on Coates to me.

I'd be concerned with Coates trying to catch basically bricks with the temperatures on Sunday.
Then, who sits in his place, would it necessarily have to be another WR?
Can't see Hamilton, DHB, or Ayers sitting.

My guess, out of that group, Hamilton would sit if Coates plays. Hamilton only plays the Z and doesn't play special teams.

I think you have to sit Coates. Sure, he can maybe return the ball to the 35-40 if he gets a short enough kick but that's not enough.
I'll take Ayers and Hamilton. Both of these guys make plays and produce when they're on the field.
Coates has done nothing for months now, why would that change now?

Hamilton is on the field making plays seemingly weekly.

I really at this point don't see how you sit him or Rogers.

Do or die, you want your payers making plays on the field.

Which is why I sit Coates.

Coates has proven he cannot play with his broken fingers, so don't expect any change there....He should not be active....Not knocking him, caus ehe is awesome...He is just not healthy

Coats issue is now more with his hamstring than his finger(s). I think all the WR's will dress. Cope's list is spot on, except I think Justin Gilbert will be inactive instead of Coats.

I'm hating on Green pretty bad. Can't get on the field? Can't F'n use you. Get off the team and leave us the money you didn't earn.

Scotty, I never thought in a million years that the Steelers would dress 6 receivers. I like the way they used all of them. Coates was purely special teams. Ayres got reps in specific situations (converting 3rd and shorts). Eli and DHB played a lot with AB. Hamilton rotated in at times. The coaches put these players on the field in situations where they were successful. This was an excellent coaching job today.
