Thought I'd throw a few out here

3- below the waist (easy)

1) BUSH starts from day one TC and brings the brains and the speed
2) Burns gets cut, makes small move & lasts to final cuts
3) Berry gets the nod, experience & comfort in Tomlins eyes

3-Mid-sections (as it states middle ground)

1) Rudolph over Dobbs (becomes trade bait), one other to practice squad
2) Williams starts but by week 8 is Barron's relief substitute
3) Matakevich gets cut

3-Above the neck (hard)

1) Boswell makes 2 from behind to win (defense actually holds leads)
2) Feiler & Chuks battle hard Chucks starts by week 6, Hawkins sits
3) Benny Snell scores more TDs than J-sam

3- BONUS Wild

1) Roethlisberger wins an MVP award (season or SB)
2) We have a DPOY or a DRPOY not both
3) We win 11 of 17 coin flips, deffer 8 (reg. season) and chose to receive the 1 in over time

Add / subtract or just blow

I was wondering about the coin flip.

Edit: I’m not sure but I think the odds of winning 11/17 coin flips is 1 in 64.

Magical Season deserves magical results. The real question would be "why only deffer 8 out of the10, what made CMVLT receive those two times (third one in OT)"

1. Fieler starts at RT but Chucks ends up starting on OL somewhere by end of season either by injury or performance.
2. Another CB needy team (probably due to injury) takes a chance and trades a 6th round pick for Burnts before he is cut.
3. Big Dan is put out to pasture.
4. Mason Rudolph takes over as primary b/u to Ben
5. MT overrides the new replay coach 12 times in the first 8 games because he has a feeling. He is wrong 8 times.
6. Washington exceeds fan expectations at WR.
7. Team makes a move for another TE by the end of camp.
8. Conner is a stud out of the backfield, Samuels becomes a great H back and our new Kentucky Thumper is a terror for defenses in short yardage and goal line.
9. I will drink a helluva lot of beer during games, eat hot wings, shout and jump up and down a lot in my living room.
10. There will be an average of 5 Fire Tomlin threads per week here at Steelers Nation.

Snell will fill in for Conner when he is hurt. Samuel's will still be inspector Gadget.

Not a chance. They’d have to honor his contracted salary.

he is still on his rookie deal.

just looked it up on Over the Cap:
Base 957,862
Dead money for trade 1.29M
Cap Savings for Trade 1.757M

If I read that right - any team trading for him has to pay 958K for his base salary. We eat 1.29 in dead money next year but save 1.7M this year if I understand correctly (which I may not)

I predict my liver will take a beating. My wife will get pissed for my screaming. Lol.

In seriousness, I don’t know why but I think this defense unit will be far better than we think or hope for. I see Connor winning the rushing title and JuJu winning MVP. Then take some kid from St Jude’s to Disney.

Predictions

1 ) Every little thing will be over analyzed.

2 ) Someone will get hurt and miss part of all of the season. Pre-season football is part Russian Roulette.

3 ) Boswell not only short leash, he's sporting a choke collar.

4 ) The lack of speed at WR and CB will show vs. the starters

5 ) Both Rudolph and Dobbs will show improvement, meaning the 3rd string guy has trade value.

6 ) Rookies who will impress: Bush, Layne, and Buggs. Rookies who won't impress Gentry and Snell.

7 ) The battle for the #2 WR won't be easy to decide.

8 ) Berry will be cut.

9 ) The lack of depth at safety will be obvious

10 ) The lack pass coverage and missed tackles will show.

Predictions predictions where to start.....

I predict no matter how far the Steelers go this year Ben will be undervalued.
I predict Burns will be shipped off around the final cuts time, for a seventh round pick and a half eaten pack of twinkies.
I think Ulysees Gilbert III is the only draft pick who doesn't make the final cuts.
Washington and DM will start out outside with Juju roaming the slot.
By the end of the first quarter game one, the headsets will malfunction.
The team will struggle early this year and end strong.
The team will sign a S come final cuts.
Gentry will shine in training camp solidifying a roster spot.
Hobbs will lose out to Rudolph, but his roster spot will still shine so bright.

someone here will fall in love with a pick in camp, but the first mistake he makes will make the guy bash him unmercifully even if he is a solid player, we will see multiple threads nitpicking about some perceived failing that has no real merit

Burns will flash his skills in camp and make the team only to further disappoint us before he is traded for a late round pick before the trading deadline

Myres excels on special teams and squeaks out a roster spot and when Burns disappoints, Myres earns playing time and is a solid contributor (pipe dream, I know)

Conner stays healthy all season and leads the league in rushing

Ben is Ben and our WRs are made to look like All Pros

Training camp turns dreams into reality How many times has said player surprised us and made the roster?.

Being a priority undrafted he has just as much chance as the next undrafted.

We'll see.

1.JuJu is going to be ready for his next challenge ... He's going to be a great number 1
2.Conner and Samuels are going to be a great duo like RB
3.Ben will stay healthy and he will not beat the Brett Favre's record for the number of sacks in a career this year. He's only been 25 sacks away from beating that, but I do not think it's going to be this year ... .Also Ben will have his best QB rating since 2014.
4.The steelers are going to have their best turnovers differencial since 2010
5.Predictions for other teams ... The Browns, Raiders and Jets will have a lot of drama in their locker room because of Odell, AB and Bell.

I predict Burns will be shipped off around the final cuts time, for a seventh round pick and a half eaten pack of twinkies.

better than my prediction of a sixth round pick. A pack of half eaten Twinkies is just a belly full of joy for some lucky soul.

1. No Bentley’s or Helicopters upon arrival at camp.

2. Most contested battle on offense won’t be WR (Ben will showcase them all), but it will be @ RT. Matt and Chuks will battle it out throughout camp.

3. Coach will pan Davis, Coaching and the kickers....because his agenda must be pushed.

4. Bush will start, but Barron will be rotated in......often, replacing Vince.

5. Defense will at least double their turnovers from last year.

1. Sean Davis leads the team in ints and Coach blows it off as a year long fluke

2. JuJu has more catches than AB and it isn't close

3. Moncrief has more catches than AB

4. Ben has a MVP like season only to be overlooked by 5-6 other qbs

5.Steelers defense ends up top 3 in points allowed and sacks

6. Conner scores more TDs than Bell
