BUY - the FA class is relatively weak, but they have to sign a vet and I think they either move up in the first or the second to secure one in the draft.

SELL - Smith is gone, Freiermuth/Washington are better options; I would cut Ramsey to get younger in the secondary, but I think they keep him.

BUY - not sure yet, maybe dip into that Weidl-Philly connection again with Reed Blankenship. I think Jaquan Brisker could be a target as well.

4. Steelers will resign Asante Samuel and Pierre.
SELL - I think they sign one and I'd go with Pierre on a 1- or 2-year deal.

5. Steelers will not bring back their offensive MVP even though on the season he gained well.
BUY - I have the gut feeling someone will overpay. Keep in mind, half the season we were complaining Gainwell was getting too many touches over Warren. The other half he was terrific. If no one overpays, I think he'll be back.

6. Steelers will trade one of their OLBers. ( if buy who shall it be?) who can it beeeee now..
SELL - This is a tricky situation because the Steelers would be dumb to let a young talent like Herbig get to free agency. Highsmith is also a very underrated all-around OLB who's younger than Watt. Watt can still produce as he ages, just not to the level of his contract...

SELL - Let him play it out and figure it out next year.

BUY - I'm okay with Rodgers coming back, just not thrilled as the primary option. I want to take a chance on Willis or Jones--succeed or fail. Unless the defense becomes dominant, the ceiling for Rodgers is what we saw last season. Willis or Jones gives a potentially higher ceiling and also a lower floor. Worth the risk, IMO.

SELL - I think the days of win-at-all-costs by playing garbage football on offense are over. It will cost wins, not that it matters because the end result is the same--no playoff win. The early feeling is a rough season and a bunch of "I told you so" regarding how lucky we were to have Tomlin. Maybe free agency and the draft will change that feeling.

10. Steelers will trade up multiple times in April’s NFL draft. ( bonus points- name the positions)
BUY - They aren't drafting 12 players. I'd love to say they are trading up for Lemon, but I think he'll go too early. Tyson's injuries worry me a bit. How about moving up for Cooper in the 2nd round and moving another for a 2027 draft pick.

BONUS: Fans will start to use "draft picks" and "draft capital" appropriately (they are not the same thing).

Yes. Steelers usually bring in FA to cover spots of need before the draft. That said i also anticipate a higher draft pick at WR.

Yes, Agree.. Ramsey salary isnt commensurate with his performance. Jonnu isnt needed. Plus his salary.

IDK, rather see them go after a younger up and comer, than to keep Ramsey.

Yes agree. They will offer contracts but getting them is another story. Pierres coverage was very good.

Sell. Given it's the last year of his contract I can't see how they tweak it. They could extend it, but I would call an extension more than a tweak.

Sell - this season should be about clearing out the dead wood, and building the roster so when the opportunity to get a franchise QB comes up they have the structure in place to enable him to succeed.

Buy (assuming the compensatory picks are as consensus currently expects) - my thoughts are trade a couple of thirds for a second to get a DB or WR (if a WR was not taken at 21), then a fourth + a couple of later picks to get a third rounder back to use on OL or DL. Possibility of other (or bigger) trade ups if they get more picks from player trades.
