If anyone quotes PFF or even uses them as any kind of reference at all you should have your Brain checked.
These idiots have Ben ranked as 19th overall QB. Wow! I have no idea what criteria is used but they may
want to use a different formula.

I guess we should be happy that all these talk show host and ignorant ranking sites have disrespected Ben over
the years. Maybe it's motivated him a bit ( even though he would never admit that )

Just like the greatest Drive in Super Bowl history that took place vs the cardinals. No one has ever pulled off a
drive greater than that one but yet hardly no one mentions Ben or the Drive. Holmes getting MVP that game was
A joke. While yes i agree Holmes played well, but Ben ran the show.

No matter who got the MVP that drive should have been talked about along with all the legendary drives in history
but because of the jealousy of former QB Media Staff and other media haters of Steelers. The Drive is never
Talked about. History books should remove The Drive from the records of elway vs the Browns and the New nickname for THE DRIVE should be rothlisbergers in the Super Bowl

Ole well. Take your 19th ranked QB rating and stick it directly up your ***.

They also say that the reason Watt is getting all his sacks is that he benefits from the Steelers scheme which somehow makes his sacks easy to get, no credit given to his individual talent. Using the logic of that argument Jarvis Jones should've been a double digit sack guy because in the Steelers scheme sacks are so easy to get. PFF - Purely Fictional Football.

I didn't realize that they were ever a credible source of info.

Right NOW, out there somewhere........Coach is grasping for breath.........no, NO, it CAN"T be...............................

Meh....proprietary data analysis, but the interpretation of what was the correct action is ALL subjective. Data analysis cannot be legitimate unless the actual diagram or intent of the play is known. PFF does not know what the coaches are thinking at the time a play is used, so it is assumed on their part. Some of their data miners don’t even have a history with the sport, just the analytics.

It also helps that a major network has a contract with them, and Collingsworth is a investor in the company.

Pff has long been criticized for injecting bias into its data analysis.

Lets say QB A and QB B And QB C all have simular stats and all throw the same general pass in the same game situation , they will criticize A for forcing a pass while praising B for it... and C might not have even completed it but they will give him a pass cause of a wr drop...

Without understanding what the sequence of reads are or what the routes are supposed to be, you cannot do what they pertain to do... its just a bunch of confirmation bias influenced stats

Perfect explanation of how subjective it is. But alas, some here on this board think it’s gospel.

This site has always had it out for Pouncey and Roethlisberger. They have some good points, but live up to the reputation of analytics geeks when they give a player who dominates a game a 60 grade.

I honestly never heard of PFF until I Googled it because of this thread. Do people actually pay $40 a year to read other people's opinion?

Everyone has an opinion..
