Texans waived OT Roderick Johnson.​


The 2017 fifth-rounder of the Browns never appeared in a game for Cleveland but settled in as Houston's swing tackle the last couple years, starting six contests since 2019 and appearing in 29 games total for the Texans. He's still just 25 years old.


Seems like a typical Steelers add, as Colbert goes hunting for talent on the FA wire. At 25 years of age, seems like Johnson would be worth a look-see, and could land a spot on a rather thin OT depth chart.

I'm always about kicking the tires and seein g what might have good tread.


I do that a lot with my BACON Cooker parts, I've found some pretty good upgrades.!

Hawkins big disappointment was supposed to be long term rt.
maybe with Klemm scheme and style Hawkins a mauler might regain the success he had at LSU
 
We have been rumored to be possibly trading for Eagles LT Andre Dillard. However the Colts just lost Fisher also
 
Dan Moore Has been killing it in practice and pre-season games. Now they are asking him to move to RT and take snaps there. Is Banner having difficulties and how much has Oakofor been practicing? Inquiring minds want to know...................................

I'm sure the coaches who see the players day to day have a way better feeling than I or most anybody here. I hope they come up with the right combination soon and get these guys some reps together so they can be accustomed to who is next to them.

Dotson has looked well also.

That is cross training the Steeler way. But he won't be selling the doughnuts for a profit on the right side. Has the look of a natural left tackle. But he might be out of the gates that extra tackle inserted for blocking.

Not too long ago. So they probably won't be shoveling a low costing tackle out the door.

I think their recent pecking order on the Oline has showed a glimpse of how things will be out of the gates

Chukes,Big dot,Green,Turner, and Banner.

I hope Green is the starter at C. Houausenowerisnower could be but I think he #2. Also Moore will be ready when called upon for depth.
