Possible FA Center Signing

Ethan Pocic (age 26) from the Seahawks. He was a 2nd round pick (58) out of LSU in 2017. He can play C and G.

Justin Britt (age 30) from Houston.

Brian Allen (age 28) from the Rams.

Posic has one year left on his contract ($1 million). We may be able to get him for a 6th rounder. They also have Kyle Fuller(C).
Fuller is an UFA as well, and the Seahawks like him.

I like Tomlinson if we can get him at the right price. Green can get stronger this offseason and be the backup C/G.

I am assuming Jones number goes down, as frequently does as players reach 30s, and would be an awesome stop gap for 2-3 years. Doubt his number goes up, but lineman are at a premium so who knows.

And if ya have to trade for a guy, he’s not a FA signing…we’ll see where the chips fall but I highly doubt we trade for any OL (Popsicles included) having drafted 2 last year and likely a tackle or 2 this year

I think they just thought he would improve. You still have to know when to come off that hope. The biggest problem with their bad decision making a is the time it takes for them to adjust those initial thoughts.
