Playoffs ‘25

I always default to the Jets when the Pens are out. Not watching, but think it would be great to see them lift the cup someday

Hey Bud thanks
31 years without a cup is torture
Hard to believe it’s been that long..
The seventy Habs were what got me into following hockey..
Dryden
LaFluer
Robinson
Gainey
Lapointe
Mahovilich
Savard

Between that organization and the 70 s Steelers..it never got much better than that for sports dynasties!

Then the Oilers showed the world what dynamic, fire wagon hockey was all about.

With a nod to Mario and his Pens teams, the hockey starting from the early 70s and Bobby Orr's Bruins, the Broad Street Bullies, the dominance and control of Les Habs (Bowman), the ascension of better offense and systems with the Isles (Arbour), and the sheer talent and spectacle of the potent Oilers(Sather who let Gretzky just be) until the late 80s was clearly the best time ever to be a hockey fan.

Then the evil Devils (Habs South - Lemaire) ****** it all up.
