Playoff schedule???

KC is really the only good team in the AFC playing next week. Thus, I want them to play on Sunday. If Jax wins Saturday, I can then root hard for KC to win. If Jax loses, then I would root for the Titans.

4:35 ET: Titans at Chiefs
8:15 ET: Falcons at Rams

Sunday:

1:00 ET: Bills at Jaguars
4:40 ET: Panthers at Saints

That sucks. Titans and Bills victories would all but assure a Steelers/Cheats AFC Championship Game, but since that is unlikely to happen, you really have to hope for KC and Jax to win. Jax is not playing well now. Bring them on. Let NE have a hard game vs KC.

I know Baltimore plays physical, but KC is a scary team in the playoffs with Hunt, Kelce and Hill. That's a dynamic trio for any defense to deal with.

that's the way it needs to go for there to be any chance for the AFCCG to play here in the Burgh.
 
I can only hope that the Patriots playoff games being on the National stage will make the refs and Big Al be at least someone cognizant of the fact that everyone will be watching and waiting for them to give the games to the Pats at every opportunity. Considering they have blatantly ****** over multiple teams who were playing against them this season, I would have to think fans of every other Franchise will be watching for it closely. The NFL cannot afford any more major bad press at this point.

For a sport that is in trouble with dropping numbers already, pissing off 31 other fan bases and making them doubt the authenticity of the game is not a good idea in the least. I doubt think it would ever force them to be completely impartial in Pats games, but hopefully they won't be able to be so blatant about it. Make no mistake, the Pats need the help this year. If they don't get it, they are very beatable.

You must be a “newer” fan. Those of us who were around in 1995 (vs. San Diego) will NEVER take a playoff game for granted again. lol

I cannot envision any scenario where Tennessee gets out of KC with a win.

I'm guessing Jags/Steeler and Chiefs/Pats in the next round. Chiefs will give the Pats fits but I still only give them a 30-35% chance to win due to league/referee interference.

Been a fan since the 70's and before we won our first SB. and it was 94 we lost to the chargers. we lost to the cowboys in 95.

I do agree about taking anyone for granted, but the game Ben had against the jags was a fluke, won't happen again, and which of the other three can score with us? I'm feeling really positive right now about our chances.

I think it was a fluke too. I also think the Jags are banking on a repeat performance, which is a mistake on their part.

I’d worry that Bortles will have one of his “on” games, which could spell disaster for us.

The one team out there that truly scares me is the steelers. Ben having two weeks off bothers me, he was playing in a zone of his own,and we will go as he does. But hey it will be fricken great to be home in two weeks...
 
The Steelers, Tomlin and Haley are who I am worried about. Ben and many starters had an easy week of practice this week and get 2 more weeks off. Tomlin MUST practice them hard every day possible. No more days off. They WILL BE rusty in our first game. It took Ben half a season before he started practicing every day and finally looking like his old self. These three weeks off are just not good for this team unless they can somehow get past the first game. The first game will probably be the hardest due to the rust.

With that said, we still must come out and fire the ball like we have been during our winning streak. The run, run, pass bullshit will not work. And, our D must play mostly man with 3 DL in the game at all times. Teams know they can gash us with the run.

After watching the Browns gash the Steelers Defense of nearly all starters, the Steelers first ffoyalp game could be another challenge for my heart medication!
 
I don't care who we will. I don't feel that the Steelers need to justify their season by beating the teams they lost to, I just want to see them win three more games.
