You only get 5 players to sit, and one is Ben, so name the other 4 players you would sit this week:

1. Ben
2. Pouncey
3. David DeCastro
4. Stephon Tuitt (He's banged up with a back, and a fresh Tuitt is a powerhouse)
5. Boz -That groin scares me, and I don't want him reinjuring it before playoffs.

Just a couple notes, I limit the snaps for Haden, Heyward, Watt, and Alualu on D and DJ, JuJu, and Ebron on O

We have a player that could return this week from IR, and that is Spillaine. If he's healthy I keep him on IR for another week, because he doesn't count against a roster spot. Feiler is eligible to return after this game, so don't let other writers make you think otherwise. I have a spreadsheet!!

I would think hard about Heyward too. See nothing wrong with the list. I would also rotate Haden with Sutton.

I think you have to play your Oline starters if Mason is starting,,,

Hell..we have to be somewhat capable on offense....dont we?

I would sit Haden. he would benefit from the rest ad it would be good to see how Sutton plays against Cleveland's receiver's

I would play Watt just so he can amass more stats in route to his 1st of may DPOY awards. and yeah i would be pissed if he got hurt. thankfully it ist my decision.

A bit torn about it but I'd add TJ to the list. The only reason to play him is to improve his chances for DPOY. The guy has been a beast all season giving 110% on every play. Let him rest, keep him fresh, UNLEASH HELL from him in the Playoffs.

We should just hire a stand in for each player and have them keep their helmets and masks on at all times.

Tomlin said he isn't going to treat this like a preseason game. Ben sitting this out makes sense because the team will only go as far as he takes them and he's nearly 40, his body could use the rest.

Beyond this, maybe a couple of other veterans such as Pouncey, Heyward, or Haden where the team has some depth. Beyond that, I think you'll see a pretty normally day with maybe some extra rotation with the backups coming in.

Watt shouldn't even be in the stadium. He has been the best / most consistent player. I'm sure he doesn't care about a meaningless popularity award. No reason to risk him at all. I would sit as many as possible.

Yep, I relegate TJ and Ben to their respective couches! I don't want them anywhere near Cleveland! I might add Heyward and Haden to that list as well. DeCastro could probably use the rest as well if injured, which I feel he is.

Ben for that matter shouldn’t be anywhere near the state. I’d tell him to stay home, away from any incidentals. Period.

Ben, Pouncy, Haden, Tuitt and one of DeCastro, Conner, Williams, Boz depending on health. They could dress several slightly banged up guys and just not play them, even Boz,

Decastro
Tuitt
Haden
Pouncey

replace at RG Grey C the bama kid haden with sutton and Tuitt with a combo of Buggs wormley and Davis and Henry M

I’d like to see Watt play in this scenario. A sack or splash play could help his DPOY case. That would be quite an accomplishment.

If they are going to count Donald's stats when Donald played and Watt did not. That is pretty much ****. I don't think that will happen. Watt is DPOY and that is a lock.

His TFL and QB hits are quite a bit higher than Donalds

I felt Watt's performance against Indy pretty much stamped it. And meantime Donald and the Rams lost a must win game. Watt is a pretty popular name. Last year he was a younger guy and team was kinda out of it. I can't possibly see how they could screw TJ over this season he is DPOY. And for Steelers haters who vote its just gonna cost them more to resign TJ with the award.
