Severely handicapped all game. First it was the run, run, pass and throw on third and long. Then it was dropped passes and offensive line penalties that negated positive plays and backed him up in 3rd and long. The guy could have had a career day with quality catching Wrs, disciplined offensive linemen and a real play caller.

Like I said, go back and watch the first drive up till they got in field goal position ( when they went into a clam shell offense) then the next three drives … they were terrified of putting the ball in his hands

Pickett bears some responsibility for the offenses lack of production, but as you said, some of it was beyond his control.

In the right system and coaching, the Steelers could have something in him.

There is no way to lay any of this **** show at Kenny’s feet. He’s not afraid to open up and make passes all over the field but he was being harnessed by the chicken **** HC and OC.
He got no real help from his WRs either as Claypuff was either running poor and lazy routes or dropping the ball. DJ dropped one across the middle he has to make and needs to work on his sideline catches as well,
Couple that with absolutely zero running game and you set up you rookie QB for failure. Forget about the play action if your running game sucks.
The defense gave up huge plays all day making it even more difficult for Kenny to overcome.
This team is currently a huge hot mess that I think Tomlin is quickly losing.
Kenny is not the problem but the hope for the future.

He looks like an upgrade over Trubisky. For a few minutes, I had optimism that the offense might do something today. I can’t remember the last time that happened.

As an organization, it’s hard not to feel like we’re a cluster, wrapped in a cluster, inside of a cluster.

Well, in fairness... At this stage of his career... He did have a career day, and will again if he ever throws a TD.

I think Pickett really only made one bad throw and that resulted in an INT. He had terrible drops by WRs and of course play calling which put him in 3rd and longs. Also not going for it at the end of the half was stupid which resulted in a missed FG / Buf TD game was definitely over then. Buffalo has a top defense and Pickett played well enough to make it competitive. He just had 0 help from the rest of the team.

Look. I could be drunk. But I think I’m fine.

I so someone who stood in there with ******* insanity at his feet and tossed the rock. I saw someone that read plays, and anticipated his WRs.

I like what I saw. I wish I would have seen him go off on dude at the end of game.

No TD's isn't a good look but it wasn't Pickett who allowed the Bills to hang 38 on us.

The defense got completely blown the **** out before halftime. The offense would have had to go TD for TD with them for any shot to win. You have a better chance of winning the powerball than that happening with this group.
400 yards at the half is a problem for sure.

while I agree some of the drops could have been caught

the passes could also have been better placed

if Mitch made the same passes this site would be roasting him for not getting the ball where his guys could make plays

I though Kenny had a decent day, at least the ints went down, but he can still get better....hopefully this shitshow of an OC doesn't ruin him

I think this is going to be the popular comment this year, but I really don't think it's the case. Mitch did not get blamed for tipped INTs or balls that went off the receivers hands like people claimed last week. The wide receivers also got blamed for catchable balls rather than inaccurate passes.

sorry Mitch got blamed for everything...Najee's ****** running Defensive lapses Everything

Kenny does look more confidant back there though and I hope he turns out to be what his fans expect

I took it as a mixed bag. Some on Pickett who didn't always make this best decisions, a decent amount on soft WRs, and a lot on an OC that couldn't coach his way out of paper bag.

I think it is time to replace both coordinators too. Flores can play call on D as the new DC and a crayon eating **** slinging monkey can replace Canaduh.

Pickett was pedestrian. That’s all any player will ever be with this coaching staff.

I propose we replace Canada with a play selection trivia that is posted up on the video screen at home games.
Let the fans pick the play - highest vote is the play selected and sent down to the QB to call.

Does anyone know someone at work that is as bad at their job as Canada is ?
How does he get away with staying the OC with this level of failure, week in and week out ?

My take as well, But hugely on the OC. Why can't anybody see that is a huge problem? The motion **** isn't fooling anyone but making it harder on our OL. Why can't we run a play to set up another play? The first drive (scripted) was fabulous, then the script ran out and O'Canada had to call from his head. NOT A GOOD track record so far.

I saw a QB who could do some things. I just hope he doesn't regress under the O'Canada toolage.

"WARNING this bag has been known to cause SEVERE damage, possible death to PITTSBURGH STEELERS Offensive Coordinator"
