i didn't understand the hate for JJ. He was a slow, stay at home dman, but had his solid moments. Not upset he's gone, but hopefully, they bring someone in with his savings. Simon, later gator. He should have been a 4th liner at best. Sid couldn't even save him.

Don't hate JAck Johnson. Just never thought he was very good. And let's face it, that contract sucked. Especially for all the more return the Pens got.

It did, but I think Sid had something to do with that signing. Didn't work out. Time to move on. Couldn't trade him for a bag of pucks.

I agree it was more about the contract than the player. Too much for too long for a player of Johnson's caliber.
