Might just be. We have been playing an aggressive style of late. The TO's are starting to happen because of it. Nice to see.

Cockrell has really stabilized things on the back end.

A REALLY good and young defensive front and a DC who's calling some smart plays.
I'd put Boykin in for Blake.

I've dumped on Heyward in the past for his play vs his salary but I will have to say with the way he has been playing the last few games he might just deserve his salary. Another SOLID game from him.

That Cards team avg'd 38 pts per game.....that was the highest scoring team in the league we just faced.....excuse me..we just shut down.........SHUT EM DOWN !!!!

I think Blake is the weak link and SS, maybe it is time to leave Golden in there.......... until next year

I have been a golden fan since we first got him... they always treated him as an afterthought... Da'Mon Jonnel Cromartie-Smith and the other flavors of the month always got the looks over him for years, and all he did was make plays and look good at Safety and CB...
I haven't read or heard any bitching about the Golden/Mitchell combination the entire game. Crockell has been a pleasant surprise. Hell, Cam Thomas had an okay game today.

This D will soon need their OWN name. They're certainly earning it. It's a whole new version of the bend-don't-break defense that Lebeau ran. They do give up some yards but will shut you down more often than not. Butler's doing a great job disguising a lot of looks and bringing the pressure.
