We need the chiefs to lose two now... they keep trying to lose but barely pulling it out....

The bills game clinched all tiebreakers over us so we cannot tie them...

Are you sure it is two the Chiefs need to lose? I thought head to head the Steelers have the tie breaker?

The ESPN playoff simulator has the Chiefs as the #1 if the Steelers and Chiefs end with 2 losses.

if they both end up with 2 losses and the chiefs second one is to the saints?

The third tiebreaker would likely come into play if we finished tied with them, best record with common opponents. The problem is the Bills are one of those common opponents, they beat them and we didn't.

unless their second loss is to the chargers.....

they have the saints falcons and chargers

the only one I see them reasonably losing is the saints....

still I would rather the Steelers end up with the 2nd seed...and only have to face them if they make the championship game

The bills loss clinched tge common opponents for the chiefs... there is absolutely no way to win a tie now... its the reason a couple weeks ago I suggested just resting guys for the pointless redskins game.... I actually don’t think that would’ve helped now, but the point was the Bills game was the biggest tiebreaker critical game left for us...
 
Please do keep rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic. With injuries, a completely predictable offense, and the typical coaching style this team is going nowhere.

Technically we can still get #1 seed with with a tie. However the Chiefs would have to lose to SD the last week. (if we win out).

we should get Spillane, Williams and Hayden back on defense

They need to figure out why they could run the ball well the first few games and get back to that.

They need to stop dropping the ******* ball and make more passes past the chains


no team in this league is perfect...not even the ******* chiefs.

they have already beaten the browns, titans and ravens...all three are fighting for the playoffs

if you have no hope..fine..but until it is over they still got a good chance.
 
and..there is no one in the NFL playing lights out.

KC is explosive on O but D is vulnerable
NO just lost to Philly.
Balt and Cleve just gave up 40+ (The ravens are one hit away from losing Lamar - and I don't understand how teams to are not trying to shadow him..AND HIT HIM!!).
Tenn - take away Henry (like we did in 1st half)

I just don't think we are the only team that has issues right now. Hopefully they can pull it together.

You are right... for some reason i was thinking conference record was below common opponents... still unless the saints and falcons beat KC the nfc games are sort of worthless to KC and us...
 
And remember gents, seeding this season doesn't mean diddly squat compared to a normal NFL season.

The #1 yes, getting the bye week, sure. After that, doesn't mean dick IMO.
 
Bigger worry than our standing is will this team come out the rest of the year and play with some urgency. 11-2 we should be saying we do not care who we play or where we stand.
