Official Prediction Thread - Steelers/Chefs

Steelers 37
Chefs 16

Ben usually wakes up after a bad performance, especially at Heinz. Also should be nice weather in Pittsburgh that day. Mahomes won't duplicate his performance from last week, and will come back to earth in the unfriendly confines of Heinz Field. Our fast secondary will keep Hill relatively in check (although let's be honest he'll break loose once or twice) and Hunt will do next to nothing. If nothing else, this team knows how to bounce back when it's been embarrassed.

hate to say it, but i can see Kansas City putting out a notice to the rest of the AFC that they're a legitimate force in the conference with this game. I honestly don't see how Pittsburgh keeps Tyreke Hill under wraps, he's probably getting at least 2 scores. And Mahomes in the real deal, our defense isn't going to phase him, not to mention the Steelers have had the Chiefs' number for multiple seasons now, it almost feels like the Steelers are due to take one on the chin from them. Hope I'm wrong, but:

Chiefs 34
Steelers 24

30-27 Chiefs
I see our offense doing better, but not sure we can stop Kelce and Hill. We have had the chiefs number, but Mahomes is more of a gunslinger which will probably cause us more issues than smith did.

Chiefs - 33
Steelers - 23

I think this could be a rough year...

Chiefs 27
Steelers 21

Todd Haley's former team in Pittsburgh 27
Todd Haley's former team in Kansas City 24

Chiefs- 30
Steelers-14

I don’t like the way you’all are thinking
Steelers 31
Chiefs 28 in OT

Out of one monsoon and possibly into another monsoon but with rain coats.........34
Dry weather road team. ..........................................................................................27

Salute the nation

A tough game to call.

On paper we have more talent, but stupid penalties, bad coaching, distractions ( AB the latest ), and the status of Ben's elbow.... I'll go with my heart and say the Steelers win 27 to 20.

It would not surprise me at all if the numbers are reversed for the above reasons stated.

Sorry, CMT will (again) have this team unprepared. Hopefully the Defensive unit will keep the game respectable.
FAK the score, the Walrus will out coach cool shades and win.

Steelers - 31
Cheifs - 27

The D or special teams scores a TD in this one.

Already game two and more turmoil out of Steeler land. Bell Bs, Tomlin picked apart, Brown tweeting against sports media, negative comments on Ben's elbow, on and on. All the negative impact from not beating the Browns with a 14 point lead late in fourth. I hate to say but I smell another up in the air game along with the weather forecast…

Steelers 17-14

I am betting on the fact that Chiefs and their "rookie" won't look as good w/their 2nd straight roadie. Ben is "home" ben, and Connor keeps chugging.
Steel Wheels 33
Chief Arrowhead 24

If Berry isn't playing, that's a HUGE advantage for the offense. He is their best defensive player and a keystone player for them. Without Berry, the recevers and TEs will have open looks. If McDonald plays, he will have a big game, since they don't have anyone who can match up with him at Safety or LB. Berry is a Gronk killer, and without him, it's time for McDonald to make some hay!

Real prediction:

Steelers 33
KFC 21

This one has me nervous as a cat. We seem to have the Chiefs number Assuming weather is ok, a shoot out

Steel 35
Chiefs 31

Damn a lot of folks projecting purely based on week 1 results. How many years have we watched NFL football? We should know better than to assume performance will continue as-is week to week

I'm going to go with a rebound game but if Ben stinks it up again I think this season is toast. Steelers 20-13 over Chiefs.
