Obama won’t visit border, but criticism of Texas trip has gotten to the White House

Obama has been roundly criticized for raising money while what his administration calls a "humanitarian crisis" is occurring a few hundred miles to the south. While Obama will still not visit the border the message has gotten through to the White House, which announced Monday that Obama will meet with Texas Gov. Rick Perry, local leaders and faith groups working with detained children in Dallas Wednesday. But he will get no closer to the border than Austin -- about 300 miles to the north -- where he will attend fundraisers and hold an economy-focused event on Thursday.

Earnest said the White House was not worried about how it would look to have Obama raising money in the state most affected by the tide of women and children at its border and not addressing the issue.

But some believe that by not visiting the border itself, Obama is essentially ignoring the full scope of the issue.

The goal is to import enough Mexicans and Central Americans who will express their appreciation by voting Democrat and thus turn Texas into a blue state. You lose that many electoral votes and a Republican will never win the White House again.

Obama Scrambling To Find 180 Military Barracks To House Illegals

The Department of Defense is cataloguing its bases and barracks to find temporary housing for hundreds of thousands of poor Central Americans who are now believed to be migrating toward the Texas border.

The DoD-wide search for migrant housing was corroborated by a Texas radio station, WOAI, which reported that Pentagon officials have “asked military bases around the country to find 180 barracks, holding centers, and other facilities to house the flood which is not expected to stop coming any time soon.”

I've wanted the NG on the border for years. With all the troops coming back from oversees there is no reason why they shouldn't be used.

I have a better plan - get 1000 buses and head to Chicago - round up every unemployed black male between 18-25 and call it a jobs program - send them to Texas at minimum wage to build a wall

Instead of having them die, wasting their lives doing nothing, at least they will do something constructive.

We'll give every 4th one a machette, to protect the border while the wall goes up - you know blacks and Mexicans don't get along.

But they need to finish the wall from the Mexican side. So the crime rate stays down.

Bomma has pissed off many traditional Dem voting blocs. If you import a larger dependency class who will rely on govt benefits then you keep Democrats in power. A winning combination matters not, the goal is simply to elect people with a D after their name.

Exactly what the cocksuckers did to my state, once an economic powerhouse, with incredible freeways, public schools, and extraordinary infrastructure and now a shithole with crumbling infrastructure, horrible public education, massive welfare rolls, shrinking tax base, crappy roads and a reliable blue state, infested with millions upon millions of residents who pay basically nothing in taxes, attend public schools, use publicly-funded medical facilities, use public transportation on the taxpayer's dime, and have brought back tuberculosis and whooping cough into the state.

I hope every politician who had a role in making this happen dies of tuberculosis and burns in hell for eternity.

We stopped at a little veterans club in the woods after golf yesterday and heard the answer to end all ...err, some of the problems.

There was a guy in a wheelchair, oxygen tubes stickin' out of his nose, colostomy bag hangin' from his knee and he was suckin' on an electric cigarette. The best part was not his appearance but the framework of his mind, entertainment at it's best.

This guy had all the answers, from local land fill issues to the scrapped NASA program, all problems had a quick and easy fix. After hearing some of his idealistic prognostications, someone asked him what he would do about these illegals pouring across the southern border. Herein lies what I thought to be the gem of the day and well worth the beer it cost me to hear the solution out.

Damn easy said he...

First we invade Mexico, they'll be an easy country to conquer...... all be over in a week or two.

Second we give the newly conquered country over to the Jews, lock stock and barrel.

Problem solved..he said.

I had to pause a minute but then after some consideration...it could work ya know.

Israel is in some bad do-do right now, takin' rocket fire from Hamas, virtually surrounded by radical Jew hatin' A-rabs and another radical administration in Washington bad mouthing their every move. Mexico. on the other hand, is a Country without leadership and direction, overrun by drugs and violence but rich in natural resources.

If the Israelis were to take over Mexico....

* The border would be closed immediately, that's just stuff they know how to do from experience. (and it will help facilitate slowing the influx of Americans)

*The Country would soon learn discipline and proper respect for the law, all Israelis must serve time in the military..women included. Those that do not will soon learn the lack of tolerance they have for slackers. All this and an almost unlimited supply of hardworking, inexpensive union free labor.

* It won't take long for them to start to organize and co-ordinate a vast empire of productive business and stable government systems..that's what they do best and they will have the Wall St connection right at their fingertips to help with any hiccups. Vast natural resources including oil, natural gas, talavera, tenampa, saltillo and agave plants can form a solid base for a quick economic surge.

Needless to say there could be many more advantages..if you let your mind go wild for a bit but in the end all three countries would be infinitely better off. Hopefully that guy hangs on for awhile longer, I'd love to hear his solution for the illegals already here.

Interesting Chip. Dovetails nicely with my plan to invade Mexico, maybe, just maybe, stopping at Guatemala, cleaning that shithole up and returning it eventually to a non corrupt (or at least less corrupt) government that knows how to capitalize on its resource, including tourism so its citizens aren't dying to get here.
 
Flying illegals home would be 99.5 percent cheaper than Obama’s plan

We taxpayers are expected to house, feed, clothe and care for almost 30,000 illegal aliens for a full year, according to the White House’s official request. That’s a small city.

Instead, we could fly all of them home for one-half of 1 percent of the $3.8 billion that President Obama proposes we spend. That’s a savings of 99.5 percent!

Most of his proposal is to pay living expenses. At the unofficial reported cost of $250 per person per day, President Barack Obama is proposing we spend $1.8 billion “to provide appropriate care for unaccompanied children.” That works out to 19,726 minors for a year. (The official term for them, written into federal statute, is “undocumented alien children.” Not undocumented immigrants, migrants or refugees. Those other terms are efforts at propaganda.)

In addition, Obama wants another $879 million “for detention and removal of apprehended undocumented adults traveling with children,” and “alternatives to detention programs” for these adults. He blends “removal” with “detention” to make it impossible to determine how many removals are planned.

If the money is all for detention, then the $250 per person reveals the plan is to house 9,632 adults for a year at taxpayers’ expense.
