Now the Cowboys have their excuse

They still got their head coach at least
 
And DM in the offseason... from triplets to as bad as it gets
 
They lose their top three offense weapons from last season, that sucks (not Murray, obviously, that's on them). No matter how you feel about the team, you don't want to see guys suffer major injuries.
 
And they lost their best corner in training camp... Scandrick
 
Tony Romo likely headed to I.R./recall

ESPN's Ed Werder reported the Cowboys will likely place Tony Romo (broken collarbone) on injured reserve/designated to return.

Romo is scheduled for a CT scan on his fractured left clavicle Monday. If the scan confirms the initial diagnosis, Romo should be placed on I.R./recall, which will force him to miss at least eight games. In that scenario, Romo's earliest return date would be Thanksgiving Day against the Panthers. Brandon Weeden will be the Cowboys' starter until Romo returns.

Never wish injury on anyone, but it is a part of the game. The closest I have come to badness onto anyone is t*mmy b*y and the cheatriots.

I guess I'm programmed to hate the Cowboys via birthright, but that DLine is nice. Assuming Lee can stay healthy(a huge IF), that D can carry them until Romo and Dez vet back. Also that Philly turf is garbage, way too much lost footing in that game yesterday.

My buddy saw this on a fishing trip last weekend. I thought it was pretty funny.


An Ashtabula barbecue restaurant has named a burger after Cleveland Browns quarterback Brandon Weeden.

The restaurant posted on its Facebook page that next Sunday’s special will be the Weeden burger.

“A tender all beef patty, cooked perfectly, and smothered in toppings which we systematically pick off right before your eyes while you watch helplessly; all before dropping the burger on the ground right before it is set down in front of you.”

They also said the burger is served with a half full glass of beer.

Pretty much summed up his play while he was there.

Good pick by the Cowboys. Weeden will start but Cassell will likely see action if they struggle.
 
Saw where Witten might be out this week too. Don't really want to comment on other team's injuries. Don't need the bad karma.

I saw it on the crawl last night on ESPN and realized I put two L's on his last name, but I didn't care enough to edit it. No offense.

No offense taken, I was just messing with you. It happens all the time, but at least it makes sorting my mail easier. All the junk mail usually has two LLs.
 
I still think Dallas win the NFC east. They have a decent defense, and a lot of talent on the OL.
