Perhaps someone knows a fix to this vexing situation?

Joe

Ravens game here also WTF

Maybe in a parallel dimension they win because I wasn't able to watch. That sucked.

Joe

Count your blessings.

For the third week in a row the Steelers are not on for me again. On average i missed one game a year over the past five, once twice n same reason. Harrisburg is even a Steelers network. This week it is not even the ravens that are playing at one, I get the Tampa Bay game for some strange reason. Oh well, another Sunday of yardwork. I have been productive though

You could grab some earbuds and listen to the radio feed. I prefer listening to Bill H and Wolf (miss Tunch) even when the game is on TV. I just deal with the audio occasionally being out of sync.

I don't know. At this point you aren't missing anything other than agony. In this house, we don't even refer to it as "the Steelers game" anymore. We call it "yelling at the TV."

Weather is supposed to be decent, so I think the Mrs. and I are gonna get out on the bike a little bit. Be better for my blood pressure, anyway.

Can someone post the network Map for tomorrows game?

Idk. College football has been better entertainment than the pros the past 3 years or so.

Still root for the Steelers. But my Sundays go towards better outings weather permitting. My pops still gets emotionally invested. I just use the games as an opportunity to get the family together and have some food & drinks

I don't have cable, I just stream and I've got Prime through my company, Hulu through my daughter gave me one of her four codes, and I actually pay about $10 for Paramount (has CBS), and of course Samsung TV 160+ channels for free. I get all kinds of free stuff.

I don't go to the sports bar any more so I catch 1st qtr / 2nd qtr / 3rd qtr / 4qtr / highlite on YouTube which is actually about 5-8 mins worth of respective quarter so I see about 2/3 game.

I'm glad to hear you get time with family, so precious and don't take that for granted (I don't think you do)

All good here

There was a time I didn't miss a game ever and had all the bullshit Cabel etc ($265.00 / month) but the NFL isn't that NFL anymore and highly doubt it ever will be.

I'm similar to you, I invest my time elsewhere except for our beloved STEELERS, I catch them but NOT other teams.

I’m sure you get fox as well right?
Steelers are on fox this weekend, not cbs.

I’ve always kinda been a Steelers only. Well the afcn and at times Tennessee cause I liked Eddie George until they’d play the Steelers.

Not on here today. I will be watching on Sunday Ticket or heading to the bar to get out of the house.

They have been on every week so far this year in my part of NC. I feel sorry for the fans of other teams. They have been force fed crappy football.

Agree about college football. Much more fun.

I haven't gotten super excited for the Steelers in a while. Don't get me wrong, I still watch and still root for them to win, I guess my expectations are just lower. And if I miss a game or part of a game, it doesn't really bother me at all like it used to. I want them to win, but watching them sometimes, I wonder if they want to win as much as their fans want them to win, ridiculous as that sounds. A lot of head scratching **** with this team anymore.

They are making so much money I wonder if the motivation to win is not what it was. Understand, I do not begrudge them their money. The NFL is a multi-billion dollar industry. But when everything is so secure, winning takes a back seat.

That and the game is not as much fun to watch either. You have about a square foot of space you can contact the QB and it better not be a quarter second after he throws it. They should stick a flag on the QB's dress and make them untouchable. Pull the flag and there's a sack in today's game. The defender does get to do a dance with the flag and pose like an idiot with his teammates like they just landed on the moon or some BS. That's fun right?

I'm emotionally detaching. Kinda like the team itself. Just ho hum each week. Same stuff. Nothing notable. Just the colors and history. Nothing great to add in 10+ years, other than a few players with individual accomplishments. Big woop.

I'm really enjoying college ball and I'm looking forward to the NHL season getting underway.
