Have to admit I only turned the TV on to see the 4th quarter of the Pitt-Miami game, and was ecstatic with what I saw.

Next to the domers, the thugs from South Beach may be the team I root to lose each week. Being a grad from Pitt leaves little to cheer about for the last 30 years, so today was a good day.

Narduzzi has put together a program that can compete with anyone. They were in a lot of games this year they just couldn't finish.

Hail to Pitt!

Pitt played great but Miami probably should have scored in the 40s. There must have been at least 5 or 6 times where the Miami WR was behind that last Pitt DB for a sure TD and the QB overthrew him. Miami kept going back to it because it was working. Pitt couldn't run with Miami's WRs but the QB just missed all day.

Huge win for the Pitt program. If they lost it would have been a 4-8 season and a tough sell to recruits. Now they're 5-7 and won't go to a bowl but this win is something you can sell to recruiits.

Pitt went out and earned that win today. Defense did a good job shutting down the run to make Miami one-dimensional and the offense did enough. A few of their own miscues ended some drives prematurely. If not for some bad coaching, Pitt could have finished with 6-7 wins this year at least, but it looks like we finally have a quarterback to be a little bit excited about.

Here's a stat for you. Nick Saban has never beaten Auburn when Auburn has at least 9 wins. Or, you could rephrase that as whenever Auburn has a decent team, they beat Saban.

No pressure on Bama though, even if they lose, the committee will probably still put them in the playoff, you know, cuz Bama.

Auburn is a complete team this season. I was impressed by their linebackers when they whooped Georgia.
Their running game is respectable as well. They have a chance against Bama

Anyone watch UCF-USF? Crazy ending with Central Florida pulling out the win. Now it sounds like Scott Frost may be on his way to Nebraska.

The Knights are my team. That game was amazing...wowzers. 3 TDs in 30 seconds at the end...wild.

Big game in the iron bowl. Shame most of America will miss it because they are riveted by Penn State vs Maryland. Dumb scheduling by the SEC.

Harbaugh has done a terrible job at Michigan so far. It’s a joke how many games he’s lost with their talent. Maybe he’s perfect for Michigan. Bo could never win the big one either.

Sick burnz

I'll take auburns OC for the Steelers

And down goes Alabama. That was a pretty good game. Well Georgia you get another shot. You better get that ball out fast to beat that nasty pass rush.

All I need now is the Pens to win this evening and the Steelers tomorrow evening.

I have Wisconsin as #1 for now. I like chaos and the best way for that to happen is to have OSU beat Wisconsin. The committee will basically be forced to pick between a 2 loss OSU team or a 1 loss Ala team. It will be interesting to see if OSU gets the Penn State treatment in that case. I would have
Auburn / Georgia
Clemson / Miami
Oklahoma (assuming it beats TCU) (If TCU wins I think both OSU and Ala get in.)
OSU / Ala

If Wisconsin wins I have
Wisconsin
Auburn / Georgia
Clemson / Miami
Oklahoma (assuming they beat TCU)

I think its a very real possibility Ala gets left out. They barely won last week and the game against Auburn was not as close as the score.

I thought after last years OSU making the playoffs without a Conference Championship and getting blown out settled the issue from happening again? Now I'm hearing 'Bama is still a lock?

Bama's SOS blows compared to Ohio States last year. Bama will only have 1 win against the top 20 if lsu wins tonight and should be toast. But the $$$$ says otherwise. Wont be surprised to see them in the top 4.

Unless they increase the amount of playoff spots, no conference should have more then 1 team allowed IMHO.

I also believe more than 3 OOC games shouldn't be allowed. And that nobody should be allowed to play FCS teams. cough Mercer cough

Hopefully Bama took some gas out of Auburn to give the Dawgs an easier go.
Auburn is gonna be tough, their RB Johnson took a beating today though.

The Dawgs imploded mentally last time. I feel a bit better heading into round 2

Bama plays an easy schedule, for the most part. They should not get in the final 4, after today. But, they probably will.

I would actually like to see Alabama not make the playoffs and get Penn State in a bowl game.

Who ever wins the SEC next week will represent the SEC in the playoffs imo.
I don't think Bama gets in. Only one team and thats whoever wins it next week.

Hopefully my Dawgs do, if not. I'll root for Auburn

This year will show how this committee is buillshit. They pretended like it's some meeting of the minds, above petty biases, choosing only the best teams with a mix of objective and subjective criteria.

This year you will see, it's a bunch of people who have already decided which 4 teams they WANT in there and then they just cherry pick the reasons later.

Just remember last year with Penn State. One of the hottest teams in the country. Early season losses. Big wins at the end. Improving every week. What did we hear? **** you PSU, you have 2 losses so there's not a damn thing you can say to get in the payoffs.

This year Auburn has 2 losses and watch how easily that gets tossed aside. They'll be a shoo-in if they beat Georgia. They might even make them the 1 seed.
