IMO they shouldn’t spend one second talking about it. It’s no big deal. And I heard (unverified) that he did it because people who wore MAGA hats were denied entry into the stadium for that game. F San Fran.

There are some stadiums around the league that say the NFL has a policy, or at least suggests, that fans don't wear political apparel to the games.
Never mind the end zones as well as the back of some players helmets are nothing but political. I miss football from the mid-70's.
