Over the past two weeks AB and MB receiving duo:

Consecutive combined 300+ yard games.

632 yards receiving

what amazes me is that there was 141 yards on pass interferences called today... and they both had that kind of yardage anyhow... Cleveland had no answer for that duo

They were leaving Bryant in single coverage all game long trying to contain AB.

Brown's two week stretch will be better than what Wheaton does all season.

Is it that Wheaton is having a disappointing season, or with Bryant's increased involvement, their just aren't enough balls to go around? I only recall Heath having one catch today.

Edit: actually he had 4, but 3 were for a total of 13 yards which is probably why I didn't recall them.

Wheaton is that disappointing this year. It reminds me A LOT of Sanders last year here. Him and Ben just could never get on the same page, the timing was always off. Wheaton addressed it last week, said the timing with him and Ben has been off because he hasn't had a lot of time to work with Ben with the injury. This is year three tho, there should be timing built in after last years increased role. If DHB hadn't started reverting to his dropped passes, I'd say he should be ahead of Wheaton, but he started out great in place of Bryant and has since been lacking when given the opportunity.

One thing that everyone needs to remember is that Sammie Coates is going to take on a much larger role next season I'm sure. It's put up or shut up time for Wheaton and he simply is not stepping up his game.

I'm not going to blame Wheaton. When Wheaton drops the ball I will blame him. When you have two guys who are eating up the touches, you just won't get much. Lets be happy he isn't being a distraction, because I think he is a good player and is probably disappointed in his current role.

Jacoby back there seems to have "muff" hands written all over him. He was just inches from having the offense in a big hole. What about Weaton???

I have zero issues with Wheaton as the third wr... he is doing great in the role, its just that Brown and Bryant are open so much and miller or Williams is probably the safer look after those two, so often he is going to be the fifth option if he isn't the first read

Wheaton actually looked better in this game. He was more involved than he had been in a while. I hope it continues.

Coates should take on a larger role next season, but we should definitely draft another WR in the mid or late rounds to see if we can hit on a replacement for Wheaton. We seem to do well there

Even Wheaton's college tape wasn't very impressive. Almost all his highlights were catches in traffic that he made a really nice play on the ball. So I'll give him good ball skills, but he just isn't very skilled at getting separation and mastering timing

Joe Haden and Donte Witner didn't play, I don't know how much of a difference they would have made, but I have to believe in some fashion they would have.

Papillon

I think they will have a little tougher time in the "third" game in a row situation. It's doable, but not nearly as easy as the brownie's game.
