What we as Pittsburgh Steelers fans have to look forward to in these next couple of long awaited months, is seeing what direction this team is going to go in for this upcoming 2021 campaign. There are a variety of unanswered questions going into the off-season, some may be answered sooner rather than later, but […]

5 of the last 7 Steeler first round picks have been LBs and all 7 have been on the defensive side. Defensive talent is not the issue with the Steelers. They need to get the offense fixed.

I have begged the Steelers to pick a Def. guy with the 1st and usually 2nd pick for the past dozen years or so. this year unless a dream defense pick falls, we should go offense 1-4 rounds

Thanks for the article Jonathan

One thing to Remeber about talking heads....... They know very little and regurgitate over and over.

I highly doubt we take a LB 1.24

I think OL is huge priority and RB 3rd or lower.

LB is a need both OLB and ILB. Assuming Bud is gone, they need some depth at OLB. They also need another coverage ILB. Vince Williams is a liability vs the pass. I'd rather get a coverage LB than a RB in round 1.

There are a few of interesting players. Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah out of Notre Dame is undersize and has ILB/S versatility. Nick Bolton is another potential 3-down linebacker who lacks size at just 6'. A couple of the bigger guys are Jabril Cox who had a strong showing at the Senior Bowl and Zaven Collins, who could have some outside/inside flexibility.

I like this draft for the Steelers: https://www.thedraftscout.com/p/the..._campaign=post&utm_medium=web&utm_source=copy

1.24 Jalen Mayfield, OT, Michigan
2.55 Marlon Tuipulotu, DL, USC
3.88 Kenneth Gainwell, RB, Memphis
4.119 Shaka Toney, EDGE, Penn State
6.192 Jimmey Morrissey, C, Pitt
7.210 Tre Norwood, CB, Oklahoma
7.219 Tony Pojan, TE, Virginia

especially with the way Tomlin calls this defense.

I guess if you draft a linebacker in the first round 3 out of 4 times you will get some pretty good linebackers. Sorry not happening.

ILB in the 3rd round or later after addressing at least C, RB and TE,
At T I guess we could live with Banner (cheap FA after injury) at RT and Chucks at LT + a cheap vet for competition, or invest in Feiler to play RT again and make an open competition between banner and chuck for the LT spot.

Our 2 biggest needs are OL and RB. If Etienne or Harris are there, they are my pick. Either way, I look to go BPA at RB and OL in Rounds 1 through 3. Then open it up to the rest of the needs. We'll probably pick up a cheapish TE in FA and a couple other depth needs.

I'm hoping 2 of the first three are OL.

BWAHAHAHAHAHA - your hate for the SEC is written all over this post!!! No freaking way do you select an ILB at 1.24 over Najee or Etienne - NONE!!!

24 OT Leatherwood UAB
55 C Josh Myers OSU
88 CB Shuan Wade OSU
got to trade up in round 2 for Javontie Williams
