If we draft a DT with our first pick, I will shoot myself in the head...

As long as that player can add to the run defense, and offer a better pass rush than what we have, I'd welcome the talent.


We play a lot of dime, nickel, and 4-3...the actually amount of snaps we play in the 3-4 is below 40%, I think. Someone can check on it.


If I can pick who falls to pick #20, its Devin White. Odds are that will not happen. Montez Sweat at #20 would be nice too.


I am not for REACHING for any player in round one. We'll see how the DB's work out. Right now, I think the value for us in round one is at DT/NT or Edge at pick #20, not CB.


I do not think this is a good draft class overall. While it's always sweet to have a later round pick pan out, we need to nail pick #1, #2, and #3.


The value at DB for us is in rounds 2 and 3, not round one...I think. If Baker, Williams, or Murphy can show sub 4.45 speed and impress at the combine, then I'd feel more comfortable picking them at spot #20.

if we'd go to a 3 or 4 man dline on passing downs, i'd be all for it, pressure right in the QB's face is the hardest to handle, but we'll stay with out 2Dline set, so I'm with you.

I wouldn't reach for any player. Teams are better off taking the BAP and then plugging holes in FA. Oh we "need" an OLB.... welcome to the team Mr. Jones. Always take the BAP.

Unless that DL is moving to OLB, it's a dumb move to overdraft a position of depth. Changing the defense at this point, with Tomlin and Butler still employed, is fruitless and will not happen.
