Disappointed I could not get Kilgore in the 4th (went pick before me), wound up with Bud Clark. Worried about Clark's abilities against the run. I kinda like Fano at RT, protects against Jones being unable to play. Rodriguez the 2nd best ILBer in this draft. Huge upgrade over the Queen/Whoever combo on first down. Jones is a likely earlier contributor, later starter at LG. Two big, physical WR's. Two physical CB's. Third TE, accomplished blocker. Okay draft. Safe, good-not-great.

We could sleep soundly after this draft

I need for the draft to be done. At this point, I am tempted to let the sites auto-draft for me since the later round picks are now a chore. Anyhoo, my mock, doing what I recommended in another thread by trading down to get a player with similar value to what I could get at 21, while getting a 2027 2nd in the process.

Lots of 2027 draft capital obtained, along with a very solid LT prospect, a super-physically gifted S, a WR with very good hands and who runs crisp routes, a DLman I think goes higher than the projected 4th round spot, a huge OT who will be a project, and some other guys.

The Steelers really need to let me handle their draft. I get an excellent ILBer to replace Queen, a very good Edge to step in when Watt and Highsmith are injured and Herbig and Sawyer need a breather, three WR's (two of whom fit as a slot or Y receiver), a talented CB, a DL with incredible physical tools but whose productivity in college just did not match those tools, a QB with the physical traits to withstand AFC North play, and a bunch of other guys.

Oh, and three 2nd round picks and two 5th round picks in 2027.
