I am giving up on Najee. He still thinks that he is in college and can outrun defenders to the outside when he should be hitting the hole and getting 3-4 yards.

I agree that he played better today but watch Warren. He does not dance, he its the hole for as many yards as possible. But when Harris dances in the hole, and some blame does go to the OL, he ends up being stuffed. He has certainly not lived up to the number one pick he was.
 
Harris had a good game today, granted he doesn't break outside well when there's nothing on the inside. He's a Bettis style running back without the benefit of the OL Bettis had. Maybe he wasn't worth a first round pick but if the OL gets their crap together consistently he'll be fine. Hardly worth a thread he's a bust. He consistently gets extra yards after contact and that move in the second half where he stayed in bounds and got it to the goal line was sweet.

Admittedly is is not Barry sanders. But those are on the line mostly.
 
He played with anger today and did his job with this line and plays called, running wide does not work.
 
Keep in mind, everyone thinks Harris had a good game today and he averaged 3.8 YPC.
 
Harris showed me a lot today. I’ve been one of his biggest detractors because yes, he stands too long and dances. But I believe that is because he gets the hand off out of ******* shotgun. They need to get under center and give him the ball. He definitely hit the hole on that touchdown. That was a big boy move.

This has been covered over and over. You can not blame Harris or any RB for lack of production for many reasons. We have poor blocking. We throw short passes where the D can look in the backfield the whole time. Along with #2 the D can also crowd the line. We also predictable. Under center = run, shotgun = pass. Just bad play calling in general. Running tosses / sweeps w/ Harris which is not his style. If the steelers can mix it up like in the 4th quarter harris and warren w/ both look much better.
 
A bash Harris thread when we really need a kudos to 🇨🇦 thread, his 4th quarter adjustments are phenomenal

Just think if we brought that mojo from the opening kickoff…nah that would be unfair

He has to give the other team a chance first then unleash his brilliance in the fourth quarter for all to behold after playing with his food (eating his crayons) for the first 3 quarters

Resign this genius before someone steals him away
