Tomlin gets fired, we hire a stud coach and next year Ben wins the SB. He decides to retire going out on top. Without Ben, and a plethora of injuries our stud coach just can't ivercome the losses and we go 2-14 and draft Trevor Lawrence with the number one pick.

Ok Ok I'd be willing if we sucked so bad over the next two and Tomlin gets fired and we draft Lawrence

Ok Ok I'd even be willing for Tomlin to not be fired if we get Lawrence in 2 years.

Ok Ok I'd be willing to even accept Lawrence not going to the Bengals

Kid is a HOFer

Sure thing

Keep dreaming.

My Steelers dream is they get by the Bengals, the Browns play their hearts out and beat Baltimore, and Tomlin unexpectedly removes his head from his *** to lead this talent-laden team to a Super Bowl victory in February 2019.

I hate to say it, but if Ben retired after next season, I would tank every ******* game the next year for this kid. Not only would I go 0-16 I wouldn't score a point. Baring any injury you're gonna need to have the first pick to get him.

Great play slash..................

Original Poster t'is but a dream. TOMLIN will win just enough to stay in the lower 1/3 of the draft picks and won't be gone until his contract expires.............................

I hope they have a new DC and OLB coach next year, sign an impact free agent for defense, and score big on their first round pick with at least one key contributor in the rest of the draft. If they do those things, they'll be near the top of the AFC next year.

When was the last time we signed a true FA impact player on defense? I'm probably overlooking a few but the last one that really comes to mind is Kevin Greene.

Are we counting James Farrior or Ryan Clark (or the failed Mike Mitchell)?

based on that video, they should have called themselves Beirut

I think that was their wackiest video, But back then I mostly listened to music over watching video's....

Ryan Clark?
I keep forgetting was Farrior FA or trade?

Wow! How stoned WERE the Nazareth guys when they signed off on that video?

highly

Dan McCafferty surprises me that he is still kicking, but not without issues. I know he has severe COPD, and I am sure he has other conditions not reported.

Thanks for the refresher. Both were excellent acquisitions, especially Farrior. He could play in Denver. :)

That was a long time ago too though.

James Farrior (former #8 overall pick)
