1. Vernon Butler - NT. Clog the middle, collapse the pocket, make life easier for Heyward and Tuitt
2. Sua Cravens - SS. Secondary sucks
3. Chris Jones - DT. Rotate the DL and keep these guys fresh.
4. Kevin Hogan - QB. finally, maybe, a decent backup for Ben.
7s - dont give a ****

I really like the first two picks, but two defensive tackles in the first three rounds? Nah. I'd rather go with a CB, or Braxton Miller if he somehow falls. Trade out Hogan for Cardale Jones, and I'd be happy.

Chris Jones would be a 5-Tech DE, hence why Butler is listed as a NT, so in the 3-4 they both would be playing in different positions.

rd 1 ) I liked Butler at the senior bowl. He's a penetrating type of Defensive tackle vs the run or pass, and flexible enough to play NT in the 3-4. Solid pick
rd 2 ) I think Cravens is a risk at safety. He's very big and needs to prove agility and speed before I'd trust him in coverage
rd 3 ) Nothing against Jones. Well I have a little bit against the names Jones as the name doesn't pan out well as a Steeler. You already picked DT. CB would have been much better.
rd 4 ) Hogan is a decent backup type. I would be fine with the pick.
rd 7 ) With three likely picks, why not take a better punter and return man.

1 ) CB Fuller
2 ) OLB Clahoun
3 ) NT/DT Willie Henry
4 ) TE McGhee
7's, best punter, best return man . slot WR, and best OL left.

1. Fuller CB
2. Sua Cravens SS
3. Adolphus Washington DT
4. Kyler Fackrell LB
7a. Oline
7b. Punter?

1- DT, Andrew Billings
This is a no brainer as I stated in the Draft Game thread, Billings shouldn't escape the top 15 let alone the first round.

2- S, Darian Thompson
I don't see how anyone could take Cravens as a "hybrid" prospect over a legit 1st round talent in Darian Thompson who is a true safety. I don't see Thompson making it to our 2nd pick if he even makes it out of the 1st round for that matter.

3- CB, Harlan Miller
Excellent CB prospect, and would be elated to grab him in the third, as he could go early 3rd late 2nd. I realize this mock has him going to us in the 4th but as I said I have Miller valued higher and I have my eyes elsewhere in the 4th, so I have no problems grabbing him as I do believe he could go higher.

4- TE, Nick Vannett
This guy screams Steelers draft pick. He won't be highly rated by the media, but he is a great all-around TE prospect with great size (6'6 260) that fits a Heath Miller mold (not saying he is on the level of Miller), but he is a good blocker and good receiver, and he'll only get better with NFL coaching.

7a- OT, Alex Lewis

7b- OLB, Theiren Cockran (Minnesota, 6'6 258, since he wasn't listed)

7c- OG, Connor McGovern

Well, your bald head looks like ***. That look is still better than your face. Oh, you meant, mock the draft. Nevermind.

Billings is a good pick...he's probably BPA at that point but I went with the #1 need in CB because it's way overdue.

I think Thompson is more of a FS and the need is at SS, hence the tendency to lean towards Cravens...unless Mitchell can slide over to SS but I don't see that happening.

Harlan Miller is a bit undersized at only 180lbs...if he can bulk up, I'd feel much better about picking him, plus I don't think he helps our starting CB situation much next year which is the weakest spot.

Vannett in the 4th would be nice. I have faith in Jesse James though so I don't think TE is as big of a need as some people think. But Vannett/James could be a nice 1/2 combo at TE and the 4th isn't too much of a gamble.

1 Vernon Butler DT
2 Su'a Cravens SS
3 Maurice Canady CB
4 Harlan Miller CB
7 Alex Lewis OT
7 Blake Frohnipple QB (well it is what I would call him)
7 beats the **** out of me

Wasn't there a recent article that Cravens didn't want to play Safety in the NFL?

I'd love to get Hogan in the 4th, but I wouldn't be surprised if his stock goes way up in the coming weeks.

Cravens has apparently bulked up some and wants to be considered as a WLB

1. Jaylon Smith LB
2. William Jackson CB
3. Bronson Kaufusi DE/OLB
4. Will Fuller WR

That mock was kinda lame. No way Darian Thompson slips to the third. They also have Jalen Mills in the 4th but most of the "experts" have him as a top 15 pick. But, it is what we have to mock so here is mine:

1. Hunter Henry, TE, Arkansas.
2. Darian Thomposon, FS, Boise St.
3. Chris Jones, DE, Mississppi St.
4. Cyrus Jones, CB/KR, Alabams.
7A. Best available Olineman.
7B. Best available DT.
7C. Best available Olineman.

Nevermind what I said about mils. I wax confusing him with jalen ramsey.
