I wouldn't be surprised, he looked a lot faster last year when I saw him playing on the panthers.
 
then again it was a bad coaching decision to play him... to go with many other bad decisions

had he opted for surgery we would had ran into problems when we got hot when will Allen was at ss had Allen had to start at fs who would of started at SS?

cutting him now is 4 years od dead cap money, let's give him another year as year 3 is when his base salary jumps up, we draft and sign someone to compete with him if he gets outplayed back up.
I would love to have Blake back and try him at both Fs @ SS

Folks cutting him just means we pay him for 4 more years and he will sign with another team and we still pay him, another shot and if he shows no improvement I am sure Lake will tell whoever the DC is and MT bench him like, and MT finally realized in that road W that IKe was done and after that 80 yd td he went straight up to him and benched him and got Mccain @ Blake up and told them 2 you 2 are gonna cover AJ.

I would love to see Shamarko play once at safety, he's either really terrible or just can't get a shot.

Actually this is exactly the same tactic that Ben used with the broken toes(that were not broken) right after a big loss years ago. Yes Ben was a drama queen but he has grown up since those days.
 
Did the groin cause him to be a trash talking, head hunting stupid player that got unecessary personal fouls?
 
ummm, I'm pretty sure you couldn't play with a torn groin, let alone run without a limp. if it is some how true, I'd think the coaches would've known.
 
Well, he didn't look like he was anywhere near what we thought we were getting.... Now was that due to torn groin, or tiny brain? Perhaps time/doctors will tell the whole story.

I didn't read the link, but a torn groin means a major muscle used in for running and cutting is torn, which makes running and cutting pretty damn hard, Keisel is out with a torn tricep. I'm pretty sure a torn groin would require about the same rest time as a torn hammy.
 
really, it's pretty easy to know folks if has surgery in the next week. I'm sure it will be reported by the Pittsburgh media.
 
I think he tore his groin @#$%ing the Steelers out of several million dollars.

He played for the Panthers who had an incredible pass rush which masked his shortcomings that were on display here and with the Raiders. We bought a bad bill of goods.

OK, while you are trying to make your mind up about his future, this may help.

Mike Mitchell (2015 cap $4.95M) - his nearly $5M cap for '15 isn't bad for a starter, but Mitchell played poorly enough that he may not be worth even that cap number. He's due a $2M roster bonus for '15. If they have someone to replace him, he makes for an attractive June cut...

cap savings June cut: $4M - 2016M, $3.1M - 20016, $5.95M - 2017, $5.95M - 2018

dead money June cut: $950k - 2015, $2.85M - 2016

cap savings pre June cut: $1.15M - 2015, $5.95M - 2016, $5.95M - 2017, $5.95M - 2018

dead money pre June cut: $3.8M -2015
 
It looks like a June 1 cut it is. Until that time, put that ****** on a camel and let him find his way through the Syrian desert without water.
