Visiting my parents. I was not going to get to see the game today, but one of my brothers is signed into netflix on their TV set. I will watch the game by a nice fire by the fire place! Merry Christmas.

I hear yaz MTC, Christmas has snuck up on many of us, causing exactly what you feel. Take the time to re-set, make that adjustment to not care about yesterday as you have no control over the past. Put your mindset into today, the present, enjoy the kids, the wife, a song or two. Be in the moment of today, Christmas Day.

List your Steelers related gifts - I got a set of rocks glasses with engraved leather wraps and coasters that’ll come in handy when I’m stress drinking during the game.
We did a very light Xmas as we give each other gifts all year.
Anywho I received Steelers wise a Minkah tree ornament and a salute to service TJ Watt jersey. A Steelers blanket from the neighbor.
I have been fighting to see if I will watch today. The disguised strong part of me that is tired with Groundhog day wants to keep the channel off. The weak fanatical part of me wants to watch another substandard performance.
Which one of my split personalities will win!

I’m watching the game. I’ll be guarded as to know it is just a game but, also realizing my FANatic might kick in at any time. I have comfort food to help combat that aspect and a huge / beautiful place to take a walk along the river should an immeadiate break need to occur.
It’s Christmas and the game is part of my Christmas present to myself.

There is alot of pain and suffering in this world ........... so my thoughts and prayers go out to all who are struggling ........ thinking of you SARGE... stay positive
I am thankful for so many things and for the people I have met in my travels this year. There are choices we always need to navigate each and every day. May faith and hope guide those decisions in the new year.

I have only been on this forum since 2019 ........... but it feels like a life long brotherhood/sisterhood.......... thank you all for brightening my world
