I remember when he walked off the field. It looked bad and I feared it was an ACL tear. Fortunately it was a meniscus. When no news of a ligament surgery happened in January, I was glad. Meniscus tears can heal on their own in 1-2mos. He did it on the last game and had a whole offseason to rehab. Great thing also is if it was a problem in February, they could have done a procedure or given it more rest. Rehab from the surgery is 2 weeks, since they just cut out the tear. Ben had one of these before. The downside of surgery is it lowers the integrity of the meniscus as a whole. It can lead to an arthritic joint or increase the need for a knee replacement as you age. Pouncey is a big guy, so I'm really glad he didn't need the surgery.

I have zero reservations on his knee being 100% right now.
