This is the sixth in this series, and now, features the Steelers 3rd round […]

I like Winfield and Isaiah, not sold on Jabari. and a little too late for an O-lineman for my liking.

But Winfield to me is a safe prospect the type you know will develop into a solid player.

Honestly I'm not a fan

I did a run at the OP mock, check it out an please share your comments

2.Patrick Queen, LB ok so maybe you don't like getting a LB with the first pick but dude got serious talent that I didn't expect to be available after the first round, he and Bush can be a tandem to fear for years.

3. Chase Claypool, WR everyone knows about him, no need to expand on this charts climber

4a. Tyler Biadasz, IOL oh man, got BadAsz at the 4th round, immediate heir to Pouncey plus depth at G from the get go

4b. Jonathan Garvin, EDGE very athletic prospect that will have a full season to develop behind serious starting talent

6. Jared Pinkney, TE . More of an online blocker than catching threat so he can compliment what we already have. 6'5" too, he is no midget either

7. Jaylinn Hawkins, S rangy free safety that can provide food depth.

I didn't go for a RB because there was better talent available in other positions of need, while RB would be a complimentary option for this season, especially if Snell does the jump.

I had a difficult choice between Benito Jones and Pinkney, the TE won the struggle because both TEs have injury history and this one is decent at blocking. Jones would be buried behind Heyward, Tuitt, Wormley (who Will be the starting NT in the 3-4 with his run stopping capacity), Alualu ( another run stopper) and Buggs.

I would be pretty stoked if things fell this way

My daughter (and my $$) went to Oregon State so I have seen a lot of Hodgins. He's not very fast but he catches EVERYTHING! Smart and very competitive. The ultimate possession receiver. Not sure we need any more of those or how his speed will translate to the NFL but if the ball goes to him he is pretty much automatic.

I like Winfield, but I don't like spending three of our past six 1st/2nd round selections on safeties, especially when we have an aging offensive line.

with OLA and Skipper and OLA to inherit Chick PT , I think he could do a much better job, I would add 1 Edge rusher for depth
Right now I will do a 4 rnd mock
2 WR Claypool/Pittman
3 G Bredeson/ Jackson tough physical OL
4 A NT Foku might have to trade to rnd 3 for him
4 B SS Chinn/Muse
6th rounders both I trade up and take C Matt Hennassy Temple.

both of thewse safties are hitters and good coverage for thier size offer more stability as Edmunds gots lost to much, and he in the nickel should be closer to line to take advantage of his speed.
