1. Arizona Cardinals – Kyler Murray, QB, Oklahoma Arizona may have the worst kept secret ever, as it is well known that they will be selecting Kyler Murray with the first pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. They already have a first round QB on their roster in Josh Rosen, but new coach Kevin Klingsbury […]

I could see the Pack taking Jeffery Simmons with their second 1st rounder needing D help.

I don't see sf taking Williams over Bosa they need a better pass rush they use Solomon Thomas more in run D sets but with Williams they would get a stud that should unseat one of the former ducks chip drafted that have not lived up to being top 10 picks.

The Bills definitely need more help on offense than defense, but there simply is too much defensive talent in this draft to pass up on a potential elite player. Ed Oliver may have the highest upside of any players in this draft class, and was once in the conversation for the number one overall pick. Some motor issues and slight character issues have dropped him a few spots on many people’s boards, but there is no denying his rare combination of size and speed.

okay I know where the character issue comes from even though it is utter bullshit and all involved in the situation agree on that

but the motor issues? where does that come from? The kid plays full tilt from the snap to the whistle...every play

I think people are regurgitating overinflated **** that has been thrown out on Oliver. There is not one thing that would prevent me from drafting him. Hell even in this mock he went 9th,.

Still a toss up for me right now...

Bush or Baker.

The more I think about it---I'm leaning toward Baker; especially with this thin DB class...

If Oliver slips to pick 12-14 what do you give up to trade up for him?

Regurgitated would be my guess. If Oliver fell to 1.20, I'd lightning run to the podium. Hell if he fell to 1.10 and we moved up, I'd thunder storm run up to the podium.

Sorry slash and NOT that it makes a difference, he was 9th in this draft but I'm betting he could go as high as 7th overall....................

Matt has done his homework.

Salute the nation

I would run to the podium for Oliver. He should be one of the best players to come out of this draft and if he isn't, that'll be a disappointment.

Agree. Aaron Donald 2.0 IMO.

I know it's hard to compare a guy to a future HOFer when he hasn't played an NFL down, but if there was any real comp to Donald, it's Oliver.

the highest I've seen Oliver go lately is #4 to the Raiders...who he has a visit lined up with soon. saw another one that had GB trade up with Tampa and get him in the 5th slot.

Not sure where he will go, but with the way drafts work out it could be anywhere in the top half of the 1st round.

just don't get the comment about his motor though. I've read a bunch of write ups on him and don't remember anyone questioning his effort on the field

if he slipped past 10 I would love the Steelers to trade up for him, but I don't really see that happening.

From a long time ago, it seems like a lot of people have him pegged to go at buffalo's pick.

As Del said in another post, who is picking at those spots, need and other intangibles are what matter.

Think of the possibilities that BUF is convinced none of the 3 teams behind them need Oliver more than they need another particular player.

They'd have no qualms trading back to one of those spots. Suddenly, the guy they were gonna take at their spot (9?) Is picked at 12.
