By Brandon J. Wallace SteelerNation.com ** Earlier this week, Pittsburgh Steelers head coach, Mike Tomlin announced that offensive lineman, Matt Feiler, will start out at left guard come training camp. Feiler (27), who was previously the team’s starting right tackle over the last two seasons, will be replaced by either Zach Banner or Chukwuma Okorafor. […]

Let us hope robbing peter to pay paul doesn't open a hole at RT.

Hopefully the experiment gets tested often before game 1.

I think what Tomlin is saying by action is he is putting a guy with-in the system at LG and a guy with-in the system at right tackle. It's due to no OTAs and possibly shortened TC. No off season to polish the new guys or introduce them to the system.

Pretty sure TC, if near normal will IRON this jam out.

Yeah I understand Tomlin wants them to know the plays, but if the guy is mediocre he will be in the right place at the right time and still get BigBen killed.
Stefen is a seasoned vet. I would think with his experience Wis would be a quick study.

I hope training camp does iron it out like you suggest, not something you want to be problematic once the ball drops..

TOTALLY agree slash. Wis should be dang neared able to step right in and play.

If the GOAT t*mmyb*y can have informal practices, why can't the steelers players do the same???

PS As far as I'm concerned, this is TOMLIN'S make or break year. He has every position upgraded and in great shape and there is no excuse for this to be an experiment. TC best tell tale who is where and if Tomlin is just experimenting then he can hit the ******* road.
