ESPN's Lisa Salters reports Steelers fourth-round pick Martavis Bryant will make his NFL debut on Monday Night Football.

Show them underachievers how it's done.

Did they give up on Wheaton?

Nice maybe tonight some of this draft class will shine.......Bryant....McCullers......Truitt?????

Justin Brown went from WR3 to inactive in a matter of a few weeks.

I see this as one of two things, big coincidence that the rookies are getting ready to play at the same time some due to injury or major desperation move by someone in the organization, does not mean Tomlin or Haley could be the Rooneys saying put them in.

Is that his mug shot? :-)

Ben needs a redzone factor.........Martavius being 6-4 has a larger catch zone radius...so you dont have to be as accurate.

Now we just need a Qb that can throw the ball with some accuracy and not overthrow the WR every throw.

Bryant looked good trying for one he did not get as well, went over the DB and made a good try for the ball which was a little long. This kid may turn out to be something in the future.

we need to grab big ben a fast athletic TE than can be a matchup nighmare not only in the RZ but on the outside in the 2015 draft....

steelers need to finally realize the importance of having a Julius Thomas or even Housler type of big bodied athletic TE....

so happy Martavius Bryant showed up big today......showed that big play ability we'd been hearing about since training camp....now Haley needs to start

force feeding the rook some play in RZ situations.....

Our team still needs a lot to be competitive. This kid doing as well as he did is a big plus. Had the Texans not dropped the ball on the edge of the end zone we may not have gotten in there so many times. I read where Timdong was the steelers digest player of the week. Not sure what got him that accolade. Blowing his cookies, bouncing the ball off his face mask back to Keisel? There were a couple of plays that he just blew big time according to the announcers. Not sure how much faith I put into there views but if correct he did not look all that great to me. Da Beard played well. Worilds actually caused a fumble on a tackle for a loss that we were lucky to get. I don't mean that the play was just lucky only that we were lucky it was reviewed and that the cameras actually were able to see the ball come out before he was down and a steeler recovered. It would have been real easy for that not to have shown up on film and the Texans to have caught a brake there.

I am concerned about Timons though from a health standpoint. One of the signs of brain trauma I was reading about was vomiting and he has had that happen on more than one occasion this year. It maybe unrelated and I have never been a fan of his contract or signing to the terms he was given but would hate to see him suffer serious health issues.

Wheaton with no catches. Did Bryant unseat him already? I doubt it but I think he definitely earned a helmet the rest of the season.

I don't think any passes were thrown his way.

he was targeted twice. Once on the opening drive, got hit before the ball got to him no call was made. Another was a deeper shot along the right sideline, Ben threw back shoulder, Wheaton never saw the ball.

This is certainly something to keep monitoring, but some athletes just do this more then we know. I knew a few people that would eat too much, drink too much, or just can't digest fluids fast enough when they work out etc.

It happens,....the good news is he seems to play a helluva lot better after he has a reversal on the field.

Im sure the guys are busting his chops in the locker room.
