Guy took a helmet to the chest, went down, started crying like a baby on the field. They are saying he is in concussion protocol, but never saw anything come close to his head or neck. If it's a chest injury, Gronk looks like a God in comparison. Still unreal he finished a game with a punctured lung!

I originally thought he got his knee or leg blown up. He's crying from what?

Looked to me like it was his leg getting trapped at a bad angle. I assumed he was sobbing because he knows he's done for the season.

So what are we trying to say here?

The dude is a beast and I would love to have him on our D.

He took a helmet to the chest and his neck snapped back on impact, probably didn't feel great. I certainly wouldn't call the guy soft.

This reminds me of the "old Wendy's comercial". Where's the beef?? Just Change here word to "where's the crying????"
Jeepers, the dude took a great sternum hit and to me it looked like he was trying to BREATH !!!! AS some here have said, I'd like him on our team for sure.

Salute the nation

I think a symptom of a concussion is overly emotional. This is why LK was so emotional when being carted off the field, he did look like he was crying a little bit. I don't think he had a clue of what was going on or what happened when you look back at his facial expression.

I hope he's alright. I had a bruised sternum once. It was crazy pain for weeks.

Great player, wish him well - hope it is nothing serious. I'd rather a number of the Steelers start sobbing on the field if it would mean they start playing like Luke does...

Its possible that LK may have thought he had a significant chest injury and started to have a panic attack. He was hyperventilating like he was having one. No way to question his toughness though. The guy is a player...

i didnt see it happen, but saw the immediate replays.
the look on his face was pretty ******* scary.

Anyone questioning him has probably never laced em up, he's a great player passionate about the game and his team...yeah let's make fun of that? Wishing a great player a speedy recovery.

Yeah Supe, When you can't breathe or catch your breath....you can start thinking all kind of things.....He looked nervous big time. Some of the Sirius NFL guys were talking about he also got a shot to the back of his helmet too. Didn;t see it at first, but looking at the hit again maybe that's where the concussion explanation came from.

Could be a concussion. Dude was just so out of it he was overly emotional

Just reported Concussion

And the more I watch the video, the less i see how he ended up with a concussion. I just don't see it. He barely got touched from the front, or the rear - I just don't see what caused it.

And everyone keeps saying he was "sobbing" but I think he was just trying to breath. He got hit in the sternum. It may have looked like he was sobbing, but I don't think that is the case.

You do not have to hit your head to get a concussion. Just a violent movement can cause. By the sudden acceleration and deceleration of the brain against the skull. Many times it is not the straight on head shot that does the worst damage.
