Steelers overcame:

  • 17-0 deficit
  • on the road
  • in the rain
  • against a bitter rival

I'd say Super Bowl Winning Head Coach Michael Vincent Lombardi Tomlin is doing fine.

Yeah but it was the Bungals... whose entire existence is to lose miserably to the Steelers... they are Browns lite... less history... more bitchiness..

They are 10-2... and I still have no clue what to expect from this team week to week. The Ravens next week and this team could crush, or get crushed, **** I don't know. I am not sure how long you can play down to the wire games and not get beat at some point because of a penalty or turnover. Hard to always play fine line football.

We continue to get in the psyche of the Bungals players and last night you could see it on their faces when we scored the second TD. The best part was how the fans had to sit until the last second before running to the exits. I'm happy we came back and feel for Shazier, but we need to be ready to play and we need to be more discipline on the field. No need for the choreographed celebrations when you finally score a TD and still behind, especially not showing up in first half. What's more important win a championship or all the rain dancing in the end zone. We have important games the rest of the way when are we going to take control of game in the second quarter not the last ten seconds??

Prayers for Ryan Shazier and his family.
The media will continue vilifying the Steelers all week bet on it. If Coach Mike Tomlin does anything he will seize on this opportunity to rally his team if for any other reason in support of a common goal; to win for Number 50! The focus should be on playing the game and FAK the media; show the media what a team in unity is capable of doing. The Rats need a win as well, their season and PO chances are at stake and you better believe they will take their shots given the chance.

Yep this concerns me as well. I do appreciate the mettle they showed last night to overcome all the factors working against them and pull out a massively gutsy W. But I too question any team's (not just ours) ability to continually win close games over and over again, especially into the playoffs. Still going to take it one week at a time, and of course thrilled with a 10-2 record, but I'd like to see a couple more "running away" victories before the end of the season to truly feel good going into the playoffs.

They talk about teams that have a lot of talent but still lose as teams that just don't know how to win. I see our steelers as a team that just doesn't know how to lose, I love these close wins because when we are in the playoffs and the game is like one of the last three WE KNOW HOW TO WIN!!!!! This team has it all. nastiness, finesse, brotherhood, and attitude. I have been a steeler fan for almost 50 years and this team is becoming my favorite team of all.

I appreciate that they came back from a 17 point deficit but Bungles gonna Bungle. I knew they'd find a way to lose. Fell asleep before the game was over but I was never worried.

I don't care how the victories are, just that they are victories. I believe that these tough games are good for a team. You are going to get tough games in the playoffs. You have to understand how to handle and overcome adversity. Look at the Eagles. Everything has been so easy for them thus far, they run into a tough situation in Seattle, and it really isn't much of a game.

Really, the blowout victories we want are for us, so we can relax and laugh and drink beer in peace during a game.

This team is schizophrenic. I don't know if who they are. Are they the **** team that doesn't wake up until the 4th quarter? Or are they the comeback team that shows up in the 4th quarter? If they would ever put together a whole, complete game and do it consistently, this team might be special. Time will tell.

But I tell you this, if we keep putting ourselves in a hole like the past few weeks when we are in the playoffs, we may not be able to overcome it.

Hard to tell if this team is special.
Fourth quarter comebacks especially when down that many points is atypical of a Steeler team.... which in turn makes them special!

The bungles owe a lot of gratitude to the browns...because without the browns the bungles would be the laughingstock of the league.

already lost in this thread

Steelers knock Bengals out of the playoffs!

Can't win when they get there , so why bother

This was Ben's third 4th quarter comeback, and he took some shots along the way. Very impressive, but the other side of the coin is the dirty cats hurt themselves with too many penalties.

The ability to come back from a 17 point deficit signals this could be a special type of season. With two key starter out on Defense ( Shazier and Haden ) credit the defense as well

The identity of this team:

The team that doesn't know how to lose!!!

Hard to argue with 10-2 but it would be nice for my mental health to have a few more blowout wins.

It was a good jaerb by lwoB repuS Winning Head Coach Michael Vincent Lombardi Tomlin to keep the team and, especially, Ben focused after a disaster of a first half. His halftime speech must have been something else.

Dalton seemed to be really on target last night, but lwoB repuS Winning Head Coach Michael Vincent Lombardi Tomlin's defensive adjustments allowed a much different outcome for the 2nd half as far as the Bengals were concerned.

Really good end of half clock management by lwoB repuS Winning Head Coach Michael Vincent Lombardi Tomlin, too.

Tomlin sucks.

10-2 record seems pretty consistent in wins vs losses.
