On 9 more rushes more rushing yards than our entire offense. 23 of our yards came from one run by a guy you belittled during preseason as our 4th best back.

He would be our leading rusher and 2nd leading receiver. Last game he was playing with a 3rd string QB. He was the offense during the short time i watched.

If we were kicking *** in the run game or even ******* winning, patting yourself on the back, might, MIGHT, make sense. Still makes you a tool, either way.

Right now, you jumped up to celebrate after tackling a guy 49 yards downfield while your team is down 30 points. Also called "the Mitchell ".

But he's a generational player? Walter Payton reincarnated.

To me he will always be the dumbass that threw 14.5 million dollars in the trashcan like it was nothing.

Bell still look the part of a great runner, but even here his YPC was under 4.0 quite often. I wish the guy had the same drive and focus that he did when he transformed himself in Year 2 because he is fun to watch. His priorities shifted and so did my desire to have him on the team.

See, this is a reasonable approach. Not some BS about how smart you are or crowing about how you perceive a player is doing.

He had plenty of games under 4.0. He had 3 straight seasons where his avg was 4.7+. IIRC he was our second leading receiver, too.

LevBell was a good back for us and I appreciate the contributions he made here. Now with that being said, he will never be mistaken for let’s say a deep thinker. The guys logic, decision making, and approach is just insane. You walk away from 14.5 million and a 70 million dollar contract to sign one for less with a horrible team. I know it was about the guarantee money but that in itself is bs. He signs our contract and it’s a first year guarantee of 19 million then year two like 32 million. What, the team was going to cut him after the first year? Not ******* hardly. Dumb, dumb, and dumber.

Luke Falk, Jets QB

They will run the wheels off him

38 rushing attempts, 16 passes, he is their whole offense

Well, he did leave $500K worth of bling in his house with two THOTs (he 'picked up' the previous evening) while he went to work..........................................which they promptly lit out with. I'm shocked. Shocked, I tell you.

I realize that $500K is a small amount in the larger scheme of things, but.....

Might it be productive, and entertaining, to have a poll as to who blows through their cash faster - Lev or AB?

Honestly at this point Bell looks pretty damn good compared to AB. He is greedy and had few, relatively speaking, minor off the field incidents, but he is not bat **** crazy like AB. If he did a major apology and wanted to come back I might consider it(not that there is any chance of that happening). AB has totally nuked all his bridges. Bell was just greedy and dumb.

With Bell, I would never hold it against a person who wanted paid, sure as a fan of said team I’m going to get pissed but they have to look out for their lively hood. The thing that sucked, how he went about doing it AND how we offered him top dollar. Correct me if I’m wrong didn’t he end up losing money between our contract and jets plus the hold out?

I think he would have been great with us and to couple him with JC. Both could have been fresh come PO time. O well.

Bell made the Steelers passing game very potent. Great back.

Bell has his rap career to fall back on, so i say AB goes broke first, considering all of the lawsuits against him and child support, his baby mamma's will have more money than him.

Bell left $14.5 million on the table. He'll never get that back. The jets signed him for ~$13.5 million a year later.

AB will be homeless in short order. Bell is still playing so I would think AB goes broke the quickest.

Bell probably has endorsements and it doesn't seem like he spends his money like a drunken sailor on shore leave, so I think that one's a no-brainer. If AB has multiple people going after him for not getting paid, the civil suits, the lost endorsements & lavish lifestyle, wow, you're right, he's going to be broke in very short order.

Really it’s not about “we” spending money....

The Steelers organization would have done so if he wasn’t a polarizing individual who was one drug test from being out for a year ....

Case in point:

Money has been spent on Joe Haden & Roethlisberger—not to mention Ryan Shazier who will never play again.

Let’s be honest, nobody here cares about the contract amount—if he signed we’d be defending it

Bell complained about being overworked here and underpayed. We offered him the same money and he is being used more in NY. He is definitely not the brightest bulb. I am not a Bell fan at all, but I will say he was giving max effort last week in a hopeless game, so i have to give him some props fir that
