As Sunday’s season opener against Cleveland draws closer, we are all left scratching our heads on when exactly we will see Le’Veon Bell on the field. We are all disappointed to hear the news of Bell’s holdout continuing this far, but it seems clear his teammates seem to be the most disappointed. Steelers teammates not […]

Has Bell ever seen The Longest Yard?

He may see it soon enough. Hell, even Trai Essex is chiming in:

All you gotta do is communicate and keep it real with your Oline and they will have your back thru everything

He is now a major distraction and is now contributing directly to the way we play on Sunday.

One of the players said "he ****** us" as he was leaving the locker room. As I said in the other thread, he won't be welcome back with open arms. He made this personal.

This is too good not to share, lol.

Irritated that Bell is distracting team from what matters - the next game. Bell was suspended for 3 games, reduced to 2, in 2015, suspended another 4 games, reduced to 3, in 2016. So he actually OWES the Steelers 5 games due to his stupidity.

And he now is apparently entertaining missing the first 6 games of 2018 just because Le'Veon? Hey, you already missed 5 for no legitimate reason, dumbass, so I'll give you week 1, and then you get back to work.

There's your six games. Dipshit.

Here is my big question. If I’m B.B., how comfortable am I during a certain play that calls for his block to make it the way he always would?

Personally he won't sign for over $14 million when it's part of doing business is just insane. Plus he hasn 't played one snap in practice meaning it could be one and done. I don't feel for a struggling player who can pass up $14 million. Please! Do my job for a few weeks.

I'm very disappointed. But business is business. From a Steelers fan it really sucks how this going to get ugly

I seem to remember some posters defending Bell's every move, and one of the things they pointed to was how the other players "supported him and looked at him as a leader". What say you now?
For a while I was one of those guys. The answer is, not much. Bell has clearly upset most if not all of his teammates and coaches. Maybe that was true for a while - that the team was behind him- but this year is different. Markedly different. There seems to be real anger and animosity in the locker room right now. Understandably so.

The sooner this is resolved the better. I'm pretty sure meveon's ship has sailed. Do not pay top dollar for a guy who's not going to be in top dollar shape. And his heart certainly won't be in it. He's worried about wear...good grief. Rubbish.

Yep. A certain poster threw out a bunch of articles with all the players supporting Bell. LOL. Like they were going to do or say anything else. They were just keeping their mouths shut as to not cause any drama or give the reporters any negative material on the Bell front to write about from the players angle. Now thruth has been released. And there are some nice quotes out there from the players.

I like the teams reaction. Bad situation. I'd like to be done with him. Unfortunately you can't get anything. When it became apparent that he would not sign a long term deal say in April they needed to work out something that would have got them compensation. I guess all you can do is move on without him and get whatever you can when he returns.

Do you think his Oline would subject him to similar treatment?
I wouldn't blame them. But these guys are professionals.

It's time to weed out the culture that's been plaguing the Steelers the past few seasons.
Guys like AB, Pouncey etc seem to be maturing and are in it for the team now.

Bell cannot grow up.
We don't need him.

I can't wait to see the fan's reaction if and when he finally shows up on the field. Now that will be gold.

I'd wager he'll never put on a Steelers uniform again. I can't wait to see their reaction the next time he's at Heinz Field and on the visitor's sideline. It will make Barry Bonds homecoming seem like a ticker tape parade.

Unless the Steelers pull the tag he will be wearing it for at least 6 games or so.
