Le’Veon Bell changes Instagram handle, takes Steelers out

I think its a message. Last week he said if the Steelers tag him he'd consider about retirement and was bichin' about this during a playoff week.

Bell also took social media shots at the Steelers when he held out of camp, which could have lead to a slow start.
 
He said a lot of things that's all over the place, from talks are going good to he will retire/sit if he is franchised again. He seems bi-polar. Helluva back, but all over the place. What he does on social media means little to me. Run the damn ball.
 
Good. Unless he accepts a contract similar to last years offer, I let him walk or just use the tag that will give them 2 1st rounders if someone wants him. If he hasn't signed it by draft time and they can get a decent RB in Rd 3 (which they probably can). If they tag him and he signs it, that is actually the worst case for this coming year. His cap hit would be $14.5 million. We are already over the cap and need to clear that much just to sign him. Again, as I have said, we will not be able to fill Shaziers spot or Mitchell's spot (will need to be cut to sign Bell). Our D will be even worse next year and the team, as a whole, will most likely be worse.

He changed it because Odell Beckham told him that he should because he isn't just a SteelerRB that he's Le'Veon Bell.

The guy repeatedly has said he wants to stay. Over and over for two weeks.

That's what I think. A sign and trade to Cleveland, New York, or Indy if Barkely is on the board would be amazing. I take it and save 10+ million in cap space that would have been spend on Bell.

Or like you said two first round picks, and we reload the defense.

Running backs can be found in the draft. Last year was loaded with good ones!

I sincerely hope the giants are moronic enough to trade the 2-1st rndrs and still sign him.
We can't afford a long term deal with a soon to be broken down rb and cap issues.

Gettleman will not trade 2 picks for a RB let alone 1. DeAngelo Williams will attest to that. Less is more is his MO. Bell is either resigning or being tagged. If he is tagged, it’s up to him what he wants to do. But I believe he won’t give up 14 million. Just a guess. Retire at 26, get 14 million.....hmmmm let think

Here’s the problem I have with this. First off I agree with those who have said no one will give us 2 first rounders for Bell. There is no ******* way that happens and not even the Browns are that stupid.

I don’t think Rooney signs him for some ridiculous amount so that leaves the tag. He will ***** and moan but eventually come in but most likely the week before the season. Then we have a repeat of the out of sync offense of last season that took half the season to get back in sync.
I say if you can’t sign him long term then tag him and start fielding trade offers for him.

He is what we thought he was, spoiled kid who feels the Steelers can't do without him. I'm afraid we have a few of these types players we will see in the next few years when contracts come up.
 
Misleading title....his Instagram handle may not say Steelers, but the Steelers logo is still there.
