Maybe they are hoping he is selected to where it pushed someone else down to them...

The more I read and hear on the radio, the more I believe LVE is gone before our pick. And I'm cool with that. The problem is that it then most likely makes Evans available at our pick and his groin injuries and failure to post a 40 (groin still bothering him?) are a concern. ****, I have absolutely know idea who they SHOULD pick in the first and I'm glad I'm not making the call. lol
 
IMA trade down guy, almost always am if our pick is +25. LVE is intriguing, but would rather have more picks or pick him up early second round after trading back.
 
I'd take him over Evans in a heart beat but VDE is now considered a top 15-20 pick while Evans has mostly fallen out of the first round.
