It's Bengals week and you have to play one at a time. But realistically this thing comes down to Christmas Day.
What the Steelers have done against the Ravens over the last several years has not worked. In terms of weapons the Steelers have way more. I grant that Brady is a better short/intermediate passer and decision maker. However, you have to defend the whole field against him and the Steelers have a better run game. You have to look at what the Pat's did last night and copy. **** they've done against the Rats in the last two three years ain't working.

On defense, drop into coverage. Flacco cannot read a defense. He is Captain Check Down

Drop in coverage BUT tackle, don't allow those extras yards by shoulder tackles. The Steelers should be fired up these last three games.

**** the defense, you still need 30 points to win games

Open it up on offense! Spread them out!

THAT'S how you beat the rats!

Pour it on early and cruise from ahead, none of the stupid Steelers arrogance of pounding up the gut for the first half to out- tough them when their secondary is a sieve.

I hope Tomlin was watching and learned something

but the blueprint to beat us is to simply run the ball. With how well our secondary is playing, we need to find a way to support the run defense a little better.

Bengals will be without Bernard this time, and Hill isn't as good catching passes out of the backfield. Timmons/Shazier should shut him down. AJ Green is said to practice this week. We'll likely see him on Sunday.

Going to be a different outcome with Green out there, Ben not coming off a knee surgery and the defense is much improved.

Would love it if we could ever get Coates back offensively.

I agree. Put Leveon at WR, create mismatches and spread them out. Tell Ben to pick them a part.

The Cheats defended the Rats with a 3 man rush. Other than Pitta and Smith getting into space in the middle and the outside, Flacco throws to who?
If the Steelers can contain the Rats running game and get Flacco on the ground in down and distance situations, the Steelers will prevail.

I would bail on the run, they are #1 against it. Use Bell to catch passes beyond the lineman or out in the flat.
Make their linebackers try to cover the tight ends and Rogers. Liked the short passes to Rogers in Bills game.

It's true, I'd try to spread them out for all I'm worth. Don't let them bltiz. If they try to drop into coverage you've got Bell for an outlet, he can beat pretty much anyone they've got short of a really good safety or corner.

Control the game, move the sticks and get up on them and force them to play big. That's not what they want to do. Course what do I know. I'm just a guy.

Jump Ball Joe will get the calls against us.

I would suggest that we already know how to beat them and if Ben can avoid a 51.1% completion %, we will be OK. I think that was Ben's first game back from injury, too.

They couldn't run against us, we couldn't run against them. The main difference, seems to be that Flacco was 60% completion ratio with Ben at 51.1% and the blocked punt for a TD. Our D seems to be better now, than it was then.

Middle of the field is open all day every day. Play tight to the wr and get to the qb. Those 10 yard cushions suck immensely. I just about lose my **** every time we're in 3rd and long because I know the other team will convert. They have to crush that trend and tackle well. Simple fundamental stuff.

Mosley couldn't cover Blount out of the backfield, what makes them think he'll be able to cover Bell??

I doubt we'll see AJ Green this week. He suffered a fairly significant hamstring injury and those don't heal that quickly, especially for a WR playing in cold weather.

CINCINNATI -- Cincinnati Bengals coach Marvin Lewis said wide receiver A.J. Green expects to return to practice on Wednesday.

Green has not played in a game or practiced since Week 11 when he was carted off against the Bills with a Grade II hamstring tear. He has missed the past three games, but he has been jogging and doing work on the rehab field during practice.

Having to be carted off the field with a hammy, I can't see him being healthy, jogging is easy with a pulled hammy, it's when you sprint or accelerate it gets you

Check your stats, the Bills were ranked #5 against the run and got GASHED for record numbers...

It won't matter the Ravens are going to lose to the Eagles. :towel2:
