Let's give this kid the kudo's he deserves,,

This is the second game this season Landry has entered a game with the outcome in doubt...

and has successfully closed out both with 2 huge wins!

This kid does not let the situation become too big for him...and can run Ben's offense well..

Now for the next step...a winner in a game he starts..

Keep up the good work young man!

"Cut him now"
"Why is Landry still here"?
"Landry must have naked pictures of the Rooneys, or Tombert"
"Can't they see that he sucks?, Ray Charles could see it".
"Tombert won't admit their draft mistakes. Landry should have been cut two years ago".

Landry is a servicable backup. No complaints from me

He has proven to be a solid back up so far. He's no Charlie Batch, but has played well when his number is called. I'm even starting to dig that mustache.

He is better coming in mid game with low expectations and no time to think. When he starts and teams game plan him his warts are exposed.

0-1 as a starter.
Landry v Manziel next week.....

This has 13-6 written all over it.

I think he does better when he doesn't have all week to think about it. Obviously.

Based off one game in one of the toughest places to play in the NFL.
I think he gets us a win next Sunday.

No, based on the fact he lacks a good NFL arm, he doesn't see the field well and he is extremely erratic. He completed zero passes downfield today and Brown saved the day with his incredible run or we lose in overtime to a great young QB. Jones is a mediocre talent and will always be exposed as such when having to start.

I agree Jones seems to have a weak arm, but he has done what he was supposed to do in 2/3 games. When you have talents like Brown, Williams, Miller, Bryant, etc etc chances are someone will be open quick. Seeing the field will come with more experience and as long as he learns his safety or check downs I think that he will be OK.

He's obviously a backup for a reason, because he has lots of flaws in his game. But he's pretty much performed as well as the team could possibly hope from him. I'm happy for him and hope he keeps it up like this. Good job Landry

Tomlin should have Landry and team believe Vick will be starting. Start Vick for a series then pull him!

Jones has looked awful in practices, but showed some improvement (not much) during the preseason. The biggest thing is that he's had time to throw. As soon as a team pressures Jones, we will see bad Landry come out.

As you do in most QB's.

Jones is serviceable as our back up. Good job yesterday now let's see if he can maintain against the Browns. Go Steelers!!

Landry is the QB of this football team now until Ben returns so we all should be supporting him. He's gone from everyone wanting him gone to actually saving our ***** in a couple games this year so I'm cutting the kid some slack. So he lost in KC which to begin with is a tough place to play and they have a pretty damn good defense last I checked. Landry I'm hoping can get us past the Browns and if he can do that then he will most definitely have earned his roster spot this year and our backup next year.
