The simple score of the contest does not tell the whole story, however. With the NFC foe winning by a score of 17-14, a kickoff ended up going through the hands of then-rookie Kaleb Johnson. Instead of going to get the football, he let it go, allowing the Seahawks to recover it in the end zone for a touchdown.
