Unbelievable ending to the Seattle bs Minnesota game. Seattle got a gift. Wow......

Man. Minny is cursed. Laces out? Meh. He kicked a 47 yarder with the same hold. Just a choke.

That was a major choke right there.Feel bad for the Vikings fans....damn.

Complete choke job by Walsh. He's a solid kicker, figured he was money on the field goal. Kickers usually have the offense set them up on a hash as well. Wonder if they did that or just ran a play.

I congratulated the Seahawks fans on their board with the hopes that we can beat them in the SB again.

They had him set up perfect. It was a complete botched hold and bad kick because he hit the laces. I was almost thinking it was a set up for the loss. Idk man.... in today's game who makes that mistake......

The laces should have no effect on the kick other than messing with the kickers head. Still, he nailed one with the laces in earlier in the game from 47 yards. Walsh just flat out choked this one away.

It wasn't just the laces but the hold looked screwed up overall. Looked like the ball was placed in a weird position. Gotta feel for Viking fans.

The Vikings vs Seahawks game

I loved it. Very old school. You could see which way the wind was blowing from the players breath. It was football the way it used to be and seldom is.

It's a pity a team like the Vikings, who has a great history in cold outdoor games lost on a chip shot.

I enjoy football in the elements but I thought the game was boring. The cold affected every element of the game (Seahawks couldn't even snap the ball without a timeout or delay of game) and turned it into something resembling peewee football.

The game made me appreciate Chris Boswell even more.

Which field goal attempt was more challenging - 35 yards, on the road, in a steady rain, with the emotions running beyond the boiling point? Or 27 yards, at home, in zero degrees?

Felt bad for the kicker because he had been great up to that point, nailing 3 field goals even though the holder kept screwing up...

Based upon the replays I've seen, the laces may have been in on every kick he made prior to the miss. My guess is that he was having trouble breathing and swallowing, and probably really needed to use the restroom, just prior to the kick.

I blame AP - they had the ball perfectly in the middle of the field and his last run went way off to the left hash - should of just taken a knee and kicked it at the 15

with the sun in their eyes and all that

Plant foot looked in a bad spot possibly. I am know kicking expert though.
I just know that from the left hash on a 27 yard kick that ball was NEVER inside the upright. Missed it as bad as Vandejagt.

Karma return from the bonehead Super Bowl decision by Carrol?

Good question. Both were put in a great spot either through the offensive drive or idiotic penalties. Even though it was cold, a 27-yard kick is as easy as it gets in the NFL, so Boswell's kick was just a little more difficult.

My brother is a Vikes fan and it just crushed him. Was really hoping for a Steelers - Vikings Superbowl, feel for him.
