Keion Adams

We're def gonna need him to.. even if Watt and Dupree stay healthy all year, sounds like he'll be a primary backup. He can't be nobody. We desperately need more bodies at that position

Agree. It will be interesting to see if they bring back Arthur Moats as well. Scary situation with the linebackers going into this season IMO. It's been a long time that I can remember with these positions being questionable talent wise.

I'm very excited to see a healthy Adams get to play, I had high hopes for him last season. I always thought his tape showed someone much more talented than a 7th rounder, I thought he showed an incredible get off at the snap and had some underrated hand fighting ability

Sorry but not really expecting much from a 7th rounder from a small school and was IR’d his only year in the league.

Injuries happen. And small school prospects do make it. What better to take a chance on later in the draft.

You don't have to expect much, but if he makes it you can be pleasantly surprised.

I think they saw a little sum sum before that injury, let is wait and see how this transpires.

Don’t get me wrong. I would love to see the next Debo but I think we ha e a better chance at bringing Moats back at some point.

I really don't remember... was he really excelling at training camp and preseason before he got hurt? There is a lot of talk about him for a 7th rounder...

WHY would you bring Moats back??? If this kid shows anything at all he will have way more potential than AURTHER.. Moats might be that injury insurance policy........"stay in shape" we'll call yaz if we need yaz.

Salute the nation

Why bother bringing back moats he was cast off to dnp after his horrid outing vs Baltimore that cost us to start Spence maybe had we maybe started moats vs the jags maybe Leonard might of been had less success.

He showed promise last year before he got hurt. I think he may be the top backup this year.

What I read was that the Steelers are looking at playing Will and Sam over left and right as they have always done in the past. I can tell you with fair certainty that Chickillo would be a starting worthing Will Linebacker. His problem is when he is essentially asked to play Sam when the ball is on the left hash for the offense and he has to play the wide side.

On one of the OTA reports, it is mentioned that Chickillo and Adams are running reps on both sides. They are to be interchangeable backups to either left or right LB spots. Coaches are going to let them sort it out to see who is top back up either side.

I am all about position flexibility, but sometimes I wonder if our staff's focus on this quality gives us players like Dupree, who were raw coming out of school and never really got "great" at anything. Should we have more specialized players on defense?

He should move inside. he sucked when he started...

He has some trouble getting off blocks, I think his run D is his weakest part of his game.

Not sure ILBer would be kind to him either.

Maybe. He did some things. But I maintain he would be a better Will than LOLB. Same with Artie Burns. Hed be a better boundary corner than RCB. I dont know why they dont shift strong and weak.

Dupree, Watt, and Chickillo. Chickillo can start and do okay if needed. So the 4th OLB needs to show something on special teams. If Adams plays special teams well, he can make the team. I think he's a bubble guy for sure and can be beaten out by another rookie free agent or Moats.
