You aren't supporting your team. Don't buy counterfeit gear.......Yadda yadda yadda

1. I can tell the difference between the real deal and counterfeits. I know what to look for a sit is easier to tell on some more than others.

2. If I see a fan wearing a counterfeit product in my mind they are no less a fan. They are still supporting their team. They just have a different budget.

3. You want me to buy an authentic jersey, cut down your profit margins on them. If there wasn't over 3x price difference you wouldn't have this problem.

4. All my jerseys are the official nfl licensed variety, road Ben, home Ben, home Hines, home Troy. I just think that is a pretty bold move by billionaires telling joe six pack how to spend their money.

Rant over.

I have been known to support the ... ahem ... "free market" nature of the internet when buying some gear. Especially when the fiance suggests buying a Stains jersey for her fat *** brother for X-Mas. I absolutely refuse to give the NFL the larger profit for the purchase of a freakin Stains jersey that that tub of crap will wear to my house twice a year while eating my food and drinking my beer! $39.95 is good enough for him!

Selling a piece of cloth that costs $10 to make for $130 is GREED.

Don't lecture me about loyalty if that's the way you treat your customers.

I don't buy ANY licensed apparel at full price and I look for the best deals everywhere. Everyone should buy their stuff on Ebay. That's the only place to find anything at a halfway normal price these days in sports apparel.

I also love that they used Mr. spent the 90s snorting more coke than the whole state of Texas to tell us that we're "stealing" from the NFL by not buying their overpriced crap.

I have several knockoffs that can easily pass for the real deal. Especially with the older players (Swann, Greene, etc)

I have ZERO guilt or shame about it

NFL, YOU aren't supporting your teams either when you don't go with the best helmet and gear suppliers because you have more lucrative contracts with inferior suppliers.

But it's not about loyalty, it's about money, aint it Rog?

I decided not to buy anything until Goodell is gone.

I used to buy direct from Korea. The exact same jersey that is sold in america. All the same tags and patches and tack and twill. $40-$50 is a smarter investment than $200-$300.

On a side note, the movie industry piracy PSAs hit me the same way. They show the Key Grips, costumes, lighting, set design, and cameramen saying piracy hurts them. It doesn't hurt them $1. None of them have back end deals and they are all paid up front from the Studio's budget. Nice try Hollywood, but that lie can't be fabricated into a truth for me...

This is so hypicritical, but typical of the fat $$ nfl. Talk out of their @ss', but want us to believe as if its out of their mouth.
RED HOT POKER, right up the keister.............

Salute the nation

Until the FTC cracked down on the websites I was getting Steeler jerseys for about $22 each with, I think, free shipping. These were the ones where the numbers, names, etc. were stitched on. No silk screens, no iron ons. So if some company is making money at $22 a pop just imagine what the profit is on an "authentic" team jersey selling for $250+. They are probably made next to each other in the same factory.

I decided not to buy anything until Goodell is gone.

I decided the same thing. And I have zero guilt about it. Cracks me up hearing Irving talking about possibly supporting criminal activity when I believe the NFL participates in, at best, shady practices, if not borderline criminal activity. $300+ for an "authentic" jersey? Shut the **** up.

I buy from China

I am not a silver spoon baby I have to find good deals.

If they want us to buy from them, give us some good deals

simple.

**** them. Buy whatever you want. The NFL needs to stop preaching in general. No More!

About 6 or 7 years ago when I was still a crazy rabid fan, I ordered about 5 jerseys from China for 25 each. Matter of fact in the building where I worked a large group of us would get together and place a mass order of 40 or 50 at once. Those babies are finely stitched and perfect. Later on I ordered another 4 or 5, one for my Dad, one for my wife. It was never even a consideration to buy an NFL licensed product even when I liked the NFL. Highway robbery.

I get jerseys for $40-50, through a friend of mine. They are all sewn on numbers/letters, and come with all the standard NFL merchandise tagging (NFL and manufacturer logos/labels, etc.), and from what I can tell are absolutely no different from authentic jerseys. I always just assumed that someone at the factory in China that makes the "official" products is producing overruns and making money for themselves on the black market.

I'd never pay full price for that crap. The NFL is out of their minds.

My wife got me several of these for Christmas a few years back. I think she paid a total of $200.

I got Harrison, Swann, Blount, Greene, and Lambert. If you saw them you would have to look more than once to notice they aren't "official".

5 for the price of 1. I would need my head examined if I paid $200 each for those

I dont buy any sports gear. Every once in a blue moon I get a Steelers t shirt or hat for Christmas.

I figure just watching the games on TV and bitching and moaning on the internet when they lose is good enough....:p

**** off convict.
I'm buying cheap China threads. Let's see... 230bucks? Or. 23bucks?
Unlicensed it is. Every single time

So the nonprofit NFL expects us to pay top dollar for their bullshit?

I bought a Ward jersey for $30 bucks that looks exactly the same as the high dollar crap they peddle.

Are these fools that disconnected from their fan base?

My Grandmother knitted me a sweet Steeler scarf. I threw in her face and yelled at her "this isn't AUTHENTIC NFL gear". Called her a ****** fan and torched that scarf.

Nah! I wear it every year. Love my G'ma. **** off NFL.
