I'm really hoping Haley puts it all together this week.

I'm hoping he makes some serious plans to abandon the 31 pts per game mandate.

I'm hoping he plans for looooong offensive drives that will eat up clock and demoralize the Giants defense.

I'm hoping that he will plan on using James along with Green as well as Bell so that Brown doesn't have to be the only receiving threat on the freaking team.

I'm hoping that 3rd and 2 doesn't mean an automatic 40 yard attempt to a half crippled Sammie Coates.

I'm hoping that the defense continues to carry this mindset that they need to clobber the snot out of anybody who dares to touch the football.

Rather than believe the hype that they can score at will anytime they touch the ball, how bout they just go out and control the game, run the offense and actually you know... score.

The concern with this team is that the defense is NOT good enough to shut down the higher octane offenses in the league, so the offense MUST be capable. They aren't going to do that if they continue to waste opportunities with bad play calls and using only 3 guys on offense. Somebody else HAS to step up.

It's audition time.

Something like 67% of our offense is Brown or Bell.

Diversity is needed Haley, and why he doesn't use play action or screen more often is a mystery to me.

I'm not a Green fan for now, but he is a tall dude who can catch. I'd target him a bit more.

The lack of play action sucks, but when you have to use Bell as a wr so much.
I mean Green did good last week, hopefully he gets better and better, but who else can we depend on? Eli makes one big play a game then he's invisible or not even in the game, Coates is starting to make sweeds hands look good, Hamilton obviously doesn't know the offense, not sure what happened to James, but that's why Brown and Bell are 67% of the O.

James can catch. He had a terrible fail last week, but he CAN catch.

But they've GOT to get away from the 20, 25 yards downfield stuff all the time. This offense should be focusing on some crossing stuff more often to get some easy throws to those James and Green and Eli. Keep them in the game and make sure that Brown isn't doubled and tripled ALL FREAKING game long.

Bell can also leak out into the middle now and then.

They just need to do some more of the "move the chains" stuff and make sure they keep the game in front of them rather than continue to count on Sammie Coates making those 40 yard catches in his gut. Sure he gets a step now and then, but the guy just can't make the plays right now. I hate to be the guy who has to point that out. I like Coates. But he's got some broken fingers.

Agreed Wig, and we have the weapons to do just that with Bell and Rodgers receiving.

According to Tomlin his fingers are fine now, and he should contribute, he needs to go get the ball.

They'll be at home, so I expect them to be more up tempo. What pisses me off is when they go on the road and say they can't run the no huddle because of crowd noise. That's a total crock. Other teams do it. Other teams go indoors for practice and pump crowd noise into the practice facility to get ready for it. I'm not sure if Tomlin does that at all. It certainly doesn't sound like he does.

Because it takes control away from the coaches, GB went on the road at Philly and they let Rodgers run the show on the road, went up tempo from the start, they don't treat Ben like a franchise QB on the road especially.

The GB win ended a 4 game losing streak. Who ran those shows ?

I want 2 TDs a quarter. Time of possession takes cares of it's self then.

Their defense is pretty ******, giving up 32+ points in those 4 games. I think Rodgers has earned the right to adjust the offense on the fly when need be, just like Ben should be allowed to do. I guarantee you Rodgers wants running the defense for GB

it's not like the play calls don't have a safety valve most of the time (that usually gets an open man in first down range), the thing is going for the long bomb even when having something open underneath. Sometimes Ben forgets about them and just heaves it, he has improved in that matter but still goes balls out sometimes, which is fine by me as long as it's not 3rd and short

I still don't get having two receivers and one running back as your offense. I would love to see these tight ends be a big part of moving the ball and getting first downs . Can't always rely on bombs to Brown. Coates sooner or later as got to be in the game and start making catches and act as if he cares.

There was a stretch in the 2nd quarter of the season where Ben was seriously featuring Coates. It was a full on "force-feeding" where he was attempting to get at least one or two deep catches to Coates a game. That looks great on the stats sheet and everyone's happy of Coates makes the play, but throwing 6 deep balls in the hopes that one of them comes up positive is a risky proposition, particularly when that seems to be damn near the ONLY thing Coates can do.

If we saw Coates catch anything else reliably I'd be more comfortable with him, but he truly seems like a one trick pony and his trick is pretty lame lately. I'm just sayin'.

This year more than any, every team looks beatable. Injuries, poor play,..etc. we just have to pull it together NOW. Let's send Debo off in style.

Not according to the GM''s here. 13-10 games are what we need, with 8 minute ball control drives by our smashmouth FB's and TE's ending in a punt or FG.

You know, to save the big game-winning glory plays for the Biltzburgh defense, Chest bump!

That's according to our head coach, especially when the opponents O is struggling, like at Baltimore

I think the problem is that Haley and Ben think they need to hit all 31 in the 1st quarter.

You don't need to go for 40 yards consistently on 3rd and 2. That's all I'm sayin'...

They just better beat the ******* Giants, I don't care how, that's what I say.
