What yinz think of this latest Pats* are the "gold standard" of the league. Everyone has their freedom of choice, but this sure looks bad for him IMO

I realize big egos are at work. But the deep pocket owners should be able to retain good coordinators. Just pay them a bunch. No cap on that. You are probably only working 50 percent of an HC.

There should be ramifications for his "change" of mind. Colts may persue but I wouldn't know what or how severe they would be.
Hoodie will be gone soon and many here are forgetting about Lance. Lance will be gone after next season if he even plays this
season. If he chooses to play this year he won't make the full year. The demise of this cheating scumbag and equally scummy
organization couldn't happen at a better time. They will fall off the relevance edge and prove the cheating was what made them
relevant.

While I think it is a supreme dick move by an entitled *******, I doubt the Colts have a legal leg to stand on. There was no executed contract in place. I think that any team that hires him deserves every bad thing that comes their way...he has proven time and time again that he is an immature and entitled **** and cannot and should not be trusted. When your agent tells you that what you are doing is a huge mistake, maybe, just maybe, you should listen.

The Colts will probably be better of that he isn't their HC, but it's still a dick move to back out 12 hours before the presser.
Either he knows something is up with Belicheat very soon, or Kraft paid him a butt ton of money to **** over Indy for deflategate, probably both.

I'll type up an official-looking resume for Keith Butler and send it to the Colts.

Backing out of a head coaching job? I guess they couldn't let all of those secrets fall into enemy hands. Looks like Hoodie will be stepping down soon, that's the only reason why he'd stay in NE.

He could have been guaranteed the head coaching job in New England. Speculation starts now, when will Hoodie retire? He'll be 66 years old in April 2018.

This guy is something , I guess that security blanket, cut off sweatshirt confused him. A deal in place after three interviews holds no water to Josh, good luck finding another interview.

Didn't Hoodie do the same thing to the Giants?

Edit: he was the head coach of the JETS for 1 day.

If a team did the exact same thing during a player's contract negotiations, it is tampering, and a draft pick is taken. Interesting to see if the league extends this rule to coaches?

I’m thinking Belichick must not be far from retirement and/or McDaniels will now be paid more than most head coaches. I’m surprised they didn’t do the same thing with Patrician.

I'm thinking Br*dy plays one more year then he and Belicheat ride off into the sunset together.

McDaniels made a douche move. oh well. he, apparently, can live with it.

What's the big deal about 66? I turned 66 in November, retired at the end of December. Collecting my SS stipend and a small monthly investment income. Guess what, I'm Fa-King bored! I took a part time job driving a school bus for crissakes.
I personally think Bill Belichick could very well be the best NFL all time coach except for the sneaky shenanigans on his watch. But if he wants to keep going after 66 I say awesome. I'd actually like to see him take over the Steelers HC job but if he leaves the Cheats no way he's coming to the Burgh.

Maybe the *s told him he couldn't take the recording equipment this time. I can't believe anyone would consider him after the **** he pulled in Denver.

Not only has he basically threw away any HC job for the other 30 teams in the NFL, he also lost his agent, who terminated his contract with him. Why you ask? Because he represents Indy’s GM Ballard as well.

Let him have the job in NE. In a couple years there won’t be a Brady and then what? He has nothing.

Why the heck does a GM need an agent?

Depends if Ernie Adams retires too.
